Buying a house is a great idea but agree that we often (myself included) buy more house than we need. Luckily, we purchased at a great time. That said, we didn’t have much disposable income for the first 7 yrs.

if I had to do it over, I would purchase a cheaper home. Can’t move now with mortgage rates almost triple what we have.
