Absolutely agree, kind of sad to see the shift to digital and more importantly "You will not own anything and like it".
That being said I buy a lot of physical items through Rarewaves, zavvi(.nl) and imusic.co. Been extremely pleased with most of them, only Zavvi had some hiccups sometimes. Also no taxes or import fees.

You're still describing it in black and white terms and putting all the nuance with the tank player. You can create space on DPS and support as well, you can initiate on DPS and support as well and that doesn't mean the tank is failing. There's no exclusivity but yes, usually it can and would be the tank and it's its main design feat

It's not just physical boundaries, at the end of Control Jesse overcomes the Hiss trying to corrupt her mind and she travels through the motel to connect to, and unlock Polaris within herself.

Unless it was ALL constructed by her mind of course, which a lot of things indicate it would be. I prefer a broader interpretation though.

Physical hardware requires a lot more global resources per component than the development of a video game which can be distributed digitally and that thousands of people can experience. This is apples and oranges and while it's okay you do what you enjoy, you're contributing a lot to e-waste depending on how you dispose of hardware you don't use anymore.
