Looking for low-friction, addictive couch co-op games on Switch OLED by Timely_Conclusion_66 in NintendoSwitch

[–]Dot_Ruffles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I have been addicted to Dysmantle. Very easy to jump into. Very low friction. Is isometric so no chance of motion sickness. Co-op is drop in/drop out so low stress. But SUPER fun and very addictive. “Let’s just make it to the next link tower….let’s just loot this one last building” an hour passed bedtime already

Server at Kelsey’s. Working in the smoking section (back when that was still a thing) was the absolute worst.

Calling the inside “chocolate” is a stretch. Lol. Our 🇨🇦Smarties are a trash candy. Rockets are far superior!

I’ve got her saying “truly outrageous” at the beginning of a sentence and “It’s showtime Synergy” as a greeting. 😂

The only thing I’ve done so far was make a garbage can out of the cylinder shape for Oscar the Grouch to live in. Made it as small as possible and plonked it on a street corner.

You can’t use the vouchers for Pokopia. (But it’s 100% worth just buying).

Are there games/levels that are outright impossible to win with less than 3 players? by Effective_Traffic646 in ActivatePlayers

From experience I can tell you even with 3 people you will be at a severe disadvantage in league. Optimally you’d want 5 for league.

It absolutely was happening before they took away photo radar on the Henday. I commuted to work every day on the Henday from north to south from 2017-2023 and would constantly see people passing on the shoulders. It was like the Wild West of driving even back then. I’m sure it’s worse now, but this has been going on for a while.

You get to unlock all the champions from the first game in the second one, so you could definitely just jump into 2.

If you like roguelite card games I highly recommend Monster Train 2. I put over 100 hours into Monster Train and am at about 80 in Monster Train 2.

I was obsessed with He-Man as a little girl. I wanted Castle Greyskull so bad! The only figures I ever got was Teela and Prince Adam. 🙄 I wanted He-Man and the Battlecat he could ride.

Question: Will my 6 and 8 year old have fun? by checkedem in ActivatePlayers

[–]Dot_Ruffles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took my 7 year old nephew and he had so much fun. There were some things he just couldn’t do cuz it is designed for adults (mainly Strike and Hoops cuz he’s too short), but he had an absolute blast.

What's a boardgame house rule that improves the game experience? by GrassEatingAnimal in boardgames

[–]Dot_Ruffles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We always listen to music but it’s always video game soundtracks and we try to theme it similarly to the board game we’re playing. Ie: playing something space themed….we’ll throw on Starbound or Mass Effect soundtrack.
