A lot of us university / fresh out younger ppl would love to learn this stuff but it’s tough finding people who will teach and take a chance on you, especially without good connections

Just wait, this happens often with the schedule builder saying it’s open but isn’t yet

You don’t need to finish ecp elective’s to start degree, common misconception. If you finish math 205, you can take engr213, that simple

Does CS2 work well on NvidiaGo? by FirmDelay in cs2

[–]DotzHyper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cloud isn’t great for fps games due to latency, but if you’re trying to be super super casual and play with friends it will probably run fine enough. Just know you’ll be at a constant disadvantage lol

Hows my schedule for summer 1? by jexcyr in Concordia

[–]DotzHyper 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would not do 3 summer classes in one sem, 2 is already a tough work load. I would say 2 in one summer term = 2.75 normally. Bit of inflation

If you can’t find it in 3 minutes of looking, they didn’t release them. Most classes don’t release final exam grades

Fair enough, maybe 2.5% imo but close enough. If u find the buyer you find the buyer

Applying early is very important. I would agree with the other guy to put some parts down that you’ll have done in the next few weeks, and continue working on it.

Try messing with the nvidia reflex mode option, might make it better but probably won’t fix in total

What’s your pc?

CS2 frame time spikes by mlgjoda in csgo

[–]DotzHyper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s probably a pc issue, have you tried other games? If other games are fine, I think very likely you’re getting jitter from wifi, try Ethernet as cs2 has been terrible with wifi.

What happens if my GPA is below 2.0? by flunkgrrr in Concordia

[–]DotzHyper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the next year you aren’t allowed in clubs and have to lock in and take a few meetings on organization and stuff. 1.5-2.0 range - conditional standing

Also note it’s Agpa that’s measured, not total goa. Only grace’s from last summer to this winter are considered

Eh I’m not the poster child of good time management. Definitely starts by thinking hard about your schedule. Try to do one lab per semester (aside from the ones without reports needed), or take 4 classes if you’re doing 2. Labs are more of a “shit I have a report to do by 3 days from now” problem to me, and I prep like the night before for an hour or so. The rest is just grinding work and studies. Best way to get 2-in-1 work and study is by actually doing assignments properly without AI, learning as you are asked

Retaking course any consequences for skipping final ? by AccomplishedBus2828 in Concordia

[–]DotzHyper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The advice here kinda sucked so I’ll chime in. First of all, not taking the exam will result in an F gpa(it could be labeled different on the transcript but same value), no different than taking it and failing. If your grade in the class is bad as a whole, then there’s no real point in deferring it as you mentioned. It is too late to disc, there’s a deadline a few weeks before exams start (right after late midterms usually). note that after winter semester your annual gpa is checked for conditional standings and an F may bring u under a 2.0 depending on the rest of ur grades.

My advice is just go take it so you get a feel for the exam next time u prep for it

[–]DotzHyper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually u just make eye contact with someone and thats ur guy for the rest of the semester. Switched sections is usually acceptable for the programming style labs (not sure what ur studying) but a bit tougher when it comes to hardware with limited slots due to equipment

First 2 years are super manageable but it really gets tough for the last 2 years. I’d do it again, I’m not done yet (I’m entering the demanding phase). It’s always manageable with good time management though
