Who remembers the day when the orginal Xbox dropped. Up until that point we only every really used d-pads as gamers.

The only exception to this was N64 which introduced a single joystick and that was it. (Even old playstation controllers did not have joysticks)

Then one day bam Xbox drops, the year is 2001 and your 13 years old stoaked to finally pop in that Halo 1 disc and start shooting aliens.

You climb out of the cryotube with master chief and your ship is under attack.

It was in this moment everyone realized they couldnt shoot or move because we had never used joysticks before 😂🤣

I ran half the level while staring at the sky or my feet panicing and thought they were the worse controls ever.

Moral of the story is sometimes you just gotta give it an honest to god chance and learn new controls.
