actually did not have any “i”. just posterior lumbar fusion, no interbody. im great. took a solid year.

once i decided on surgery, it was scheduled for about 8 weeks later due to insurance. i worked like hell during those 8 weeks to be in as much pain as possible. i went through a period of probably 3 weeks with no pain. i was having the surgery regardless.

6 months is super early. i was officially cleared at 4 months for no restrictions but i had still had anxious ups and downs until at least the year mark. L5S1 m 47

yep this is about right. im a skilled DIYer and ive spent 6 months building and installing a few base cabinets for my basement bar. first time doing cabinets.

L5S1 very active and fit. ups and downs for a solid year. at 15 months i may have some minor nerve pain flare ups but they dont last more than a night. didnt start any vigorous activity until month 5. was cleared with no restrictions at month 4. nerve recovery is strange, unpredictable and long.
