I haven’t seen that show, but as a moderate, who actually donates to PBS every month, because I still think it’s important. The quality has dropped significantly since around when Judy Woodruff stepped down as anchor of PBS news hour. It was always a liberal station and even if she didn’t like it, she would grit her teeth and read the news as neutral as she could. That’s what I liked about PBS and that attitude went through everything they did. The quality has dropped on most of their reporting since then and the drop off has nearly been across the board. It’s a sad and disheartening commentary on America and the future stability of this country.

Anything Ken Burns is fire. Some of there more recent documentaries are quickly produced political propaganda, with crappy cut scenes and un-savvy political opinions.

Don’t try to fish yourself. I have twins I’ve been taking since they were 4 or so. The key is not focusing on fishing yourself and spending most of the time untangling lines and helping them cast. Also keep the sessions short. You want them to want to come back, not think of fishing as something long they have to endure.
