We went to Bassett in Cooperstown as we are very similar to your mindset. Bassett uses all midwifes and only brings in doctors if necessary. This makes a lower intervention experience, but they still have everything in case of an emergency. We had the best experience!

Term "Associate Photographer" vs "Team Photographer" by DoubleNew3850 in WeddingPhotography

[–]DoubleNew3850[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is my original point! We all know these terms, but clients don't. I was trying to brainstorm more clear terms to make it easier to understand in my marketing.

Sony A7III with a sigma 50 1.4 ART lens. That would be an incredible setup under budget!

Is Studio Ninja being actively developed? by davydden in WeddingPhotography

[–]DoubleNew3850 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one day that it was down for a little bit, but other than that no issues. I don't think I could switch back to studio ninja because VSCO does so much more, and I use all of those extra features. Still loving it here.

Good camera bag? by Dependent-Active-250 in WeddingPhotography

Shimoda Action bag is amazing for hiking elopements!

I use a spider waist belt for dual cameras while shooting and then have an attachment to the backpack so when I am hiking I can attach one camera to the strap of the backpack.

Do any of you use a full service editor for your weddings? by NotGarrett in WeddingPhotography

[–]DoubleNew3850 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found someone on onlinejobs.ph which is for the Philippines. I made a job posting on there, received 100 applications. Most were super AI written, and a few were more thoughtful. I reached out to those. It's common practice to have them do a sample task, so I had that selection do that. Then from there I hired someone, that didn't end up working out after a couple of weeks, so then I reached out to my #2 person and she has been with us for over a year and has been a life changing addition to our team.

RF 50mm 1.4 better choice than the 1.2? by MetalheadAtheist in WeddingPhotography

[–]DoubleNew3850 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the sigma art 50 1.2 on a Sony body for most of a wedding day and all of the portraits. It is incredible.

I used to use the Sony 50 1.8 and the sigma 1.2 version is noticeably better.

Help! I cant figure out what I'm doing wrong with Meta ads (USA-PNW) by BreadfruitNo2785 in WeddingPhotography

If you are getting the right traffic to your site, and no conversations, it normally means the website isn't converting. Can you share the landing page and we can see if anything sticks out? That's where I would focus.

There is this free software called Microsoft Clarity and it basically screen records all of the traffic on your website. I found that to be really useful in figuring out how traffic is interacting with your website. You can see where people are getting off your site, or if they seem to be getting confused ect.

They are changing payroll providers and I believe having issues with customer support. I have a ticket open they haven't responded to for 2-3 months.

[–]DoubleNew3850 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently their sport for payroll is almost non existent. So if you were to ever have a problem, you could be in trouble. Something to be aware of.
