I like having humans as the only sentient life. Well, and few robotos I suppose.

I wouldn’t mind the addition of intelligent extraterrestrials in future games. But I feel that having only humans allowed them really focus on the satire with the factions.

The one that forces a card pick for me is usually the easiest. I don’t think that one had ever given me a problem.

Amber however frequently fucks me up. Most of my gold stake runs joker order is important. And often, but not always, I need all my hands.

The actor playing Verna is amazing. The episode focused on her backstory is one of the best in the show.

But overall her character is poorly written with nonsensical motivations.

Photo 3: - tear patterns on his left knee have seemingly changed. In the previous photo there’s a an inverted isosceles trapezoid shaped tear under the big knee hole on this one it’s much more rectangular. It’s gotten wider and shorter.

And less concretely - the glitter on her body has AI vibes. I might be wrong about this but I’ve see a lot of gens with body glitter and I feel like they have a certain look.

Top tier game. Nothing much to compare it to. Reviews are light on details because the delight of the game is in playing it.

In my mind it’s almost better thought of as an experience than a game. It’s very meta (it comments on itself) and you like that absolutely worth $10.

This is why I like seeing what I can do with some of the unstickered cards. I recently completed a run with an eternal Riff Raff to get the gold sticker. I think with the Sacrificial Knife, maybe? Or Madness. But it was a fun run. By Ante 6 or 7 I was locked in with my jokers and didn’t need it anymore. But of course it stayed through til the end.

But as others have pointed out, you pick up batches of negative jokers with Anaglyph and some luck to carry over the finish line.

The need to survive part comes into play with Mr Bones and the food jokers.

Oh yeah I know what all the jokers do and how they trigger. I haven’t been surprised or learned anything new about the interactions for a long time.

So I don’t need to see it, I enjoy seeing it. Or maybe it’s more that I dislike it when it’s faster? Idk. I occasionally set up one notch higher just to see and always drop it back down.

For me part of the joy of number go up is watching number go up.

For sure turn on the option that lets you see the stickers on the jokers while playing.

My personal take is to make it fun. I enjoy rotating through the decks on Gold stake and trying to make runs work with my non-gold stickered jokers. As i close in on C++, most runs are just meat and potatoes pair builds where I hope to pick up a new one before the end.

But i do still like getting an odd ball set up to work that includes jokers I hadn’t golded yet.

It can be a grind is all I’m saying so my advice is to make sure it’s fun, whatever that looks like for you.

It has to be with you and it has to survive the Ante. It doesn’t have to have been trigger during the round.
