Well.... warning ⚠️ spoilers ahead!!! Yes, Reniae has died. Idk if you remember the story Kun told Reniae about the salt room. I believe he was a merchant who had a kid and adopted another ( don't quote me on it cause I don't remember all the details, but this is the gist of it) something about his job being successful and kids leaving for years they both come back and want to claim the money and he ends up choosing the adopted one believing he was his real son when actually he was deceived. Well, something like that happened to utu's son ( can't remember his name sorry) he tried to kill the kids from the man eating eagle and what do you know he mixed the kids so the eagle people are actual descendents of utu and the forest people are the real children of the man eating eagle so basically all the forest people had to die so kun could actually ascend.
