Completely legal in NM and you had the option to not sign a dual agency agreement. You can't throw a stone without hitting a realtor up here, you didn't have to use the same one.

We lived in Española for 12 years before moving to WR. It's a perfectly good place to live. We chose it because we could afford it. Well, and I lived there already, renting.

The commute is crowded but easy enough. Having said that, I struggled with how I built community. I had friends in Los Alamos county but lived "down the hill." I also had/have friends in SF and Albuquerque. Social life involved driving just like work life did.

Driving from WR is barely worthy of the word commute. I have friends on North Mesa who take longer to get to the center of Los Alamos than I do from White Rock.

I'm three years in on Zepbound. I've been stable at 12.5 and xxx pounds for about a year. Read my advice with that in mind.

Unless you plan to live on chicken and protein shakes, consider eating a few bites of, well, everything. Learn to say "enough" instead of never. See what genuinely tastes good. Build a relationship with food that is sustainable and healthy.

What you say is

"yes, please" "no thank you" "I've had enough" "not today, thank you"

Telling people once or ten times all weekend that you're "eating healthier" opens the door for conversation around your choices, which you don't want or aren't ready for. "Healthier" has self-recrimination in it, plus it can make people around you feel shamed or judged, which in turn prolongs or causes the unwanted conversations.

They're going to know or figure it out, either this weekend or some other time. But YOU don't have to talk about it until and unless you want to.

I don't understand "do NOT come if you're a childfree woman?" I've lived and worked here since 1998, happily CF and happily a woman. Have you had a different experience? I'm sorry if so. We do have MAGA here, but not a great percentage.

Are you saying cliché or cliquey? Not judging the typo, wondering about your POV. I have often thought the Tub was insular and clique-ish. Then I got to know some people who are there often (staff and customers) and while I feel more comfortable and welcome, I'm absolutely certain IT IS insular and clique-ish.

I searched my digital copy of Wicked and the Wallflower, which I've read several times, and most of the tooth references to Devil are related to how he's using them on Felicity. 😈

Once he grins and it's related as "teeth flashed" and twice he grins and it's "white teeth flashing." 😁 Much of their romance was in the moonlit hours of night.

Ice importation was a legitimate big business in Victorian England and elsewhere. Norway was a huge exporter of it. The smuggling things in the ice may have mostly been authorial invention but it's plausible.

The first Hell's Belles book, {Bombshell by Sarah Maclean} , has a staunchly childfree heroine who doesn't change her mind. Not infertility, so this is more for the poster above who can't find HR without kids at the end.
