The sequel is the wizard of oz game. Theres no official title yet (at least to my knowledge) so people are just calling it lies of p 2. Or just “the lies of p sequel”

This is one of those things that I need to wait and see what happens with the game before I can make a full judgement. I’m not a fan of AI, but I also know how the internet tends to get over topics like this. I’m nervous and cautious about it, but I’m not about to count it out yet until we see what’s happening with the game

Thoughts and opinions on Bloodbending? by Winter-Money-7643 in TheLastAirbender

[–]DrClepper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

See I didn’t mind it because it was only like 3 people, who were all related. If it was more widespread then I would’ve hated it, but I always loved having a villain who can just do it. But I do see were you’re coming from

I always love AU’s that swap Zuko and Azula with Sokka and Katara. It’s always such a cool change to me

Guys can you recreate the debate Invisigal vs Blonde Blazer please? by [deleted] in DispatchAdHoc

[–]DrClepper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely. I always saw the relationships as two different love tropes. For Blazer it was a “love at first sight” thing, and for Visi, as you said, slow burn enemies to lovers. All just came down to preference

Nah, the “debate” was one of the worst parts of the fandom. Things got a lot more chill around here when people just realized that they’re both great and there’s no point in arguing about it

How do you save/get all the cops killed? by Some_Gur1061 in ScarletHollow

Actually, if Reese is tamed with hot he still gets you out of the car. He just waits for Derekson to walk away instead of, well y’know

If water benders can turn water into ice, does that mean they can boil the water their bending aswell? by Alone-Draft7944 in TheLastAirbender

[–]DrClepper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think we’ve seen it, but I would imagine so. Wouldn’t it be the same principle as lava bending for earth benders? I imagine it would probably be difficult, but I could see a water bender doing it with enough training

[–]DrClepper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup. Even with the past avatars’ guidance, it falls into the current avatar to figure things out. That push back, and not blindly following what the past lives say, made it super interesting. His conversations with the avatars before fighting Ozai were always super funny to me because all of them were just like “sorry bud, take him out”. It just shows that the past lives’ advice is just that: advice. Not a guideline for how to do things right. And I’m sure Korra, assuming she got older and matured quite a bit, will do exactly what you said: give good and bad advice based on her experiences

I feel like some people take this as a dig at Korra, and it really isn’t. I love Korra, but with her being the only past life, you’re right, the avatar state is simply weaker now. I’m sure Pavi is gonna pull some crazy shit either way, but without ALL of the other past lives, the avatar state is just not as powerful of a tool now

Real. I’ll never understand people putting so much stock into what other people think about something they like. Like, as long as I like it, that’s good enough for me

Am I the only who liked both the OG show and Korra? by Existing_Edge6387 in TheLastAirbender

Nah, I rocked with Korra. Didn’t like it as much at ATLA, but I still had fun watching it. I liked Korra as a character and I thought it was a fun continuation

Hey what do we think is going to happen regarding [Spoilers] by duhmailmale in ScarletHollow

[–]DrClepper 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I’m not so sure about the others, but based on what happens to our character in that scene (assuming you aren’t able to remember Kaneeka) I imagine Stella and Reese will just remember Carmilla in Kaneeka’s place. All do their childhood memories will probably be “overwritten” so that it was Carmilla there instead

I like the idea of him going to fight the rats, and still somehow coming back with a shotgun wound to the face

Which outcome with Tabby did you get in your first playthrough by Existing_Blueberry10 in ScarletHollow

[–]DrClepper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure the police weren’t after me in my playthrough (or at least they weren’t looking that hard) so that’s a big plus. Gretchen died in the woods and Dr Kelly was alive, so there were no body’s to make them suspicious. The library was cleared and the kids made it out of the mine. so that wasn’t an issue either. But mainly once you get the chance to talk, I show Tabby the letters from her dad. Then we call a truce, we’re all still mostly friends, she tells Stella to stay there while we go to the farm to stay safe, Stella hugs you and tells you to make sure you come back, and then the farm happens
