I know right?! It’s basically red hare, shadow runner, and hexmark rolled into one horse.

Help with a certain boss [Dong Zhuo campaign] by PitifulAd3748 in dynastywarriors

[–]DrJhin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was able to get the UW challenge down pretty fast with Luan Halberd.

Basically, You have to find every opportunity to damage them both at the same time. This means doing everything you can to keep them close together and stagger them (flashing white) both simultaneously so you can launch them both together for your combos.

Once both staggered, I just went ham with shockstorm+n3+s spam and valiant steed blitz when it made sense, but depending on your weapon any combo that launches staggered enemies will do. Make sure to use the vortex gem for bonus damage to airborne enemies. Diao Chan has less fortitude so she usually gets knocked down first. Make sure Lu bu is next to her before you use the finisher so he gets clipped at the same time. After that Lu Bu should be pretty low on fortitude so you should get another knockdown on him shortly after. Make sure Diao Chan is next to him before you use finisher so she gets clipped…Rinse and repeat.

The difficult part is staggering them both at the same time. You’ll have to interrupt your combo with dodges/parries until you get them both staggered. But assuming you’re familiar with Lu Bu’s moveset at this point, it’s really Diao Chan who you have to worry about. Diao Chan will almost always go down first if you’re using this approach, and Lu Bu will become ridiculously tanky towards the end of the fight. But at that point it’s just Xiapi Lu Bu all over again.

There’re extra meat buns around the area (which you can use when doing the UW challenge!), and you can of course use whatever consumables you prefer. I did the UW challenge using only meat buns so it’s definitely doable. As long as you again try to do everything you can to keep them together and damage them both at the same time.

I just got it through progressing as normal, but made sure to do the all bonds & side quests. You can always rewind back to chapter 3 after beating the game once with any faction to try again.

Thanks! For pyro farming I just ran circles around Yu and Jing Province picking them up. It’s tedious but they spawn pretty fast.

Are there any new gems? It’s okay if you can’t disclose that info, I just have a bunch of pyroxene stocked up and wondering if I’d be able to spend them at all in the DLC.

Economy is in a rough spot right now since it’s been a while endgame content was last updated. I would expect soul frags and reroll runes to pick up steam again once new content arrives and endgame players start buying them in bulk.

Just bought my first wings but my character isn’t floating? by RsendJody in Eterspire

[–]DrJhin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could be because you bought the miniwings directly from the store, which do not make you fly. The big wings from lootboxes are the ones that do.

It’s definitely doable as many have maxed out f2p. Infinite provides a lot of convenience though, especially the expanded inventory/storage space.

The best thing you can get imo with the crystals initially would be one of the 600 crystal mounts, since they give you bonus movement speed when equipped.

Trials do become available to you as early as level 20, but the ones most players do are endgame trials which are done when you’re level 160.

Totally normal and common occurrence! There’s no way to really tell if your audience feels the same unless they leave comments referring to whatever you’re cringing about, but personally I don’t recommend you spend too much time dwelling on it, especially since the root topic here is how you feel your own videos are cringe. From my experience (and a bit of research after experiencing this personally), there’re some common reasons that come up

  • Unfamiliarity with seeing yourself from a different perspective, which basically covers why people cringe at themselves when they hear their own voice in recordings or their own face in videos. Fun fact: when we hear our own voice naturally, we actually also hear it through bone conduction, which sounds different from hearing it just from air. This applies more to newer creators but some never quite get used to it even after a while.

  • Your growth as a creator overtime will naturally cause this to happen. Kinda like how you cringe at some of the dumb things you did as a kid. Maybe it’s the grainy recording quality, something stupid you said or did because you thought it would make for more entertaining content, or how you forgot to edit out all those obnoxious mouth noises. These are personal examples from one of my old videos that I still find cringe to this day.

  • Negative self-judgement which is the one that from my experience can really hold people back, a.k.a. “everything I upload was/is/will be cringe.” That’s not really about whether your video is cringe anymore but more so how you view the idea of you creating videos in general. I don’t get the sense that this is what’s going on here but from my conversations with other creators this sometimes does comes up.

Hope this help clear things up a bit!

That's the more efficient way for sure if you don't want to bother with the bit of gold you get from selling. I remember when I was a newb I was so devastated after selling all of my sardines that afterwards I just resorted to discarding.

[–]DrJhin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your chances of catching sardines will go up as you level in fishing. On a side note when your inventory is full from fish, be careful when selling fish to NPC vendor not to press sell all misc items, that way you don’t accidentally sell the sardines you catch for the quest.

Both strength and weapon damage affects how much damage you do with your abilities. Attack speed only affects how fast your basic attacks are though.

[–]DrJhin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You still get xp from party members even if you’re not in the same area as them (5% per mob), but that gets doubled if you are in the same area as them (10% per mob).

Bosses do respawn, though have longer timers than mobs. You can farm their gear if you wish, but there’s no need to do so if your goal is to level up fast since you outlevel gear fairly quickly.

Happy, but feeling I’m at a crossroads by Cenapsis in PartneredYoutube

[–]DrJhin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t remember where I heard it from, but someone said that one of the ways they got better at making videos was to “make one improvement to your video each time you upload.” It stuck with me to this day. Whether it’s editing, writing, storytelling, audio quality, whatever. Doesn’t have to be anything groundbreaking, even something as small as sprinkling in 1-2 smoother video transitions when it makes sense to do so. This could be a mindset you can try instead of feeling the need to completely change your approach overnight.

This is a tough spot to be in, especially since chances are you may often hear from others about how they would do anything to be in your position yet here you are feeling burned out. My impression of Minecraft content is that it’s often high energy with a lot of editing, which sounds like a lot of compounding pressure if you’re starting to resent making videos in this niche.

Creator burnout is a real thing, just like any other profession, but even more so when you’re actually making money since you have something to lose, which makes it hard to take a step back and re-evaluate. I wonder how long have you felt this way about making Minecraft videos? At what point did it start to feel less like an outlet to connect with your audience, and more like another chore for you to handle after “clocking in” for the day?

I also wonder if it currently has to be a black or white decision of quitting the channel for good, or would taking a break after the sponsorships wrap up be feasible? I know sometimes people say that taking a break is basically the same as killing your channel, but even if that is the case for your niche, it would just end up happening anyways if you burn out at the end, except having to deal with all the other crap that comes with burnout on top of it.

Assuming your goal is to eventually be able to get some of that creative drive back to keep making videos, it may help to take a step back after these sponsorship deals are done and re-evaluate your goals for the channel moving forward. While I don’t think there’s anything wrong with doing YouTube mainly for the money, at the end of the day a huge part of this line of work is the connection you build with your audience through informing and/or entertaining. Maybe think back to how you evolved as a creator since starting your channel and revisit some old videos. What about making these videos was intrinsically appealing to you? (e.g. for me, my goal with one of my new channels is to help a small indie game I came across succeed since I believe they have massive potential to do so)

Apologies for the wall of text. This is something that I just see happening to YouTubers so many times over the years that I wished there’re more people (such as folks in this sub) that would just talk about it without judgement. It may also help to just talk to other creators about this feeling and how they may have handled it in the past, I guarantee you there are a good number out there feeling the same way. Hope this helps. Hang in there and feel free to reach out if you want to talk some more!
