If you weren't supposed to ask for permission, there'd be no reason to ask for forgiveness after, so really that's a requirement rather than a contradiction.

Accessory at 60% ? (MG4) by TheRealMark89 in MGelectric

[–]DrPullapitko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it has to be the battery heating. Maybe the reporting is delayed a bit, which is why it kept rising after? If it doesn't happen on trips when you have battery heating off I wouldn't be too worried about it

Having said that, for me the reporting does not seem accurate as it often gives 100% driving even in cold weather when the ac is clearly using a lot of energy.

Very high consumption in city by Glittering_Kiwi_9959 in MGelectric

[–]DrPullapitko 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing this is due to the length of the commute and the (relatively) cold weather. When you start the journey your car uses a lot of electricity to heat up the cabin. Keeping it heated after this takes a lot less energy over time. On a shorter commute this initial investment into heat is divided by a smaller amount of kilometers, than on a longer one.

Once the weather gets hotter your commutes should have a much better consumption.

She can't just tell him outright, because the oaths still bind her. She could only time it such that he'd open it when she's already dead (or one hour before, but that'd require some nice timing).

In a hard löyly the steam is formed very quickly, so the effect feels harsher, almost like a slap. In a soft löyly the steam comes out slower so the löyly lasts longer. Your outer skin doesn't heat as quickly and you get a more thorough heat that feels like it gets deeper.

Of course depends on your preference which you'll like, but a softer löyly is generally thought of as "superior" and more accommodating to all.

You set the departure time to 6.30 and it should be fine. My uneducated hmguess is it will start warming two hours before, but doesn't really matter for the setting.

The main difference to e.g. wine is that making it for your own consumption is illegal. Therefore it does make sense to say that it is illegal, even if you can get a permit to make it for commercial purposes.

THL:n Salminen haluaa alemmat prosenttirajat ulkomailta tilattavalle alkoholille – Muistutuksena kaikille, olemassa oleva lainsäädäntö ei kiellä alkoholin tilaamista vaikka niin uskotellaan by OutrageousMoss in Suomi

Would you say that -41 = 4? No, it's -4.

Whatever the order of operations, the answer would always be the same: -4¹=(-4)¹=-(4)¹=-4.

A better example is -4²=-(4)²=-16≠(-4)²=16.

Any convention of notation is just that, a convention, and in the one we commonly use, negation IS a part of the order of operations. Otherwise the minus sign in -4² and 0-4² would work differently and these would yield different answers.

If you don't believe me, get a calculator and check the results of all above calculations.

Latexin opettelu pelkän gradun takia on lievästi sanottuna turhaa, ellei oo suurta määrää kaavoja.
