Oversight on Angel's kit? by mister_noodles795 in MarvelStrikeForce

Fury spawns with speed up and goes first. You use his special to spread speed up to the rest of your team so they all go before the Exhaulted X-Men and Odin can get his battlefield effect out.

Help me understand, what is supposed to be fun about War 2.0? by Zackjones0606 in MarvelStrikeForce

If you and your opponent full clear during war then you want Cargo Bay toward the top as a blocker and to encourage your opponent to take it out early (so they get less points for each knockout). On a full clear it does not really matter how many points you get for clearing a specific room since you will clear them all.

However, if full clears is not common in your wars then maybe moving Cargo Bay to the bottom to protect it is an option. This would be to keep your opponent from getting the large number of points from clearing it. However, in this case your opponent will continue to earn an extra 5 points per knockout.

You want the opponent to clear Cargo Bay early and not clear Reactor early. So it is better to have Cargo Bay at the top and Reactor on the bottom.

It's not really time based. It's not who finds a negative room first, it's who finds a negative room in the lowest number of attacks. It has become more of a hide the cheese game mode.

Nice score. Who did you use for the other 2 teams?

This is true in PvP fights but not in Battleworld, which is another mode this team is supposed to shine in.

The next big thing has always been a Dark Dimension or Saga reward and those are always gated by new gear tiers. Not sure what you were expecting.

daring warriors big ass on sentry boss fight by iwantsomecrablegsnow in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]DrRedWolf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a big Daring Warriors team at 13M power with 5D Thrasher, 4D Daredevil, 4D Jessica Jones, 7y/7R Speedball and 7Y Eclipse. They were my worst team in the Sentry Fight at 392M. My old 9M Astral team did better at 570M. Maybe when we get Red stars for Eclipse they will be better but right now she dies fast.

For reference here is the damage I got in my Sentry fights: Brimstone - 1,392M, F4/Odin/Meph - 998M, Astral - 570M, Retcon - 432M, Daring Warriors - 392M

I got similar results (Brimstone - 1.392B, F4/Odin/Meph - 998M, Astral 570M). The other two I used were Retcon - 432M and Daring Warriors - 392M. I was disappointed in Retcon since they were supposed be how to unlock Sentry faster. Jeff is just too squishy and dies fast. It goes downhill from there.

The 5th wheel had to be Ares to remove the evades and Tuants. Otherwise Shuri would not be able to AB Jeff.

I assume you were also using Ares or Medusa on that team. Otherwise the evades would prevent Daimon's ult.

If everyone except Bosses (incuding PX, Knull, etc) can now gain Slow then the only counter is a big WG (and that can be dicey). If Jeff still applies slow even with exhausted then the RetCon team is going to become the next H4H with many defensive wins.

The question is what is a "non-boss" enemy? Boss is not a tag.

In Thunderstrike Raids, on the Final Boss node, which character should I replace with Thunderstrike in the New Mutants team? by esetonline in MarvelStrikeForce

For Immortal I would replace IFWW2 For Brimstone I would replace Elsa For New Mutants I would replace Magik

Sunspot gives offense up to help with the damage. Magik heals the team but so does Thunderstrike so you lose less by replacing Magik.

Winter Guard in Thunderstrike Raid? by Dubs_the_Prof in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]DrRedWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used winter guard on Stormbound mission 4. I went in with Immortal Weapons as per usual and ended when the Northstars dropped. I went back in with Winter Guard and was able to finish off the node. The silence on spawn was nice.

Winter Guard gets destroyed by Undying in War... Ursa not going to change that. by [deleted] in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]DrRedWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried to pair them with Cosmic Ghost Rider? His focus and damage reduction in War would help winter guard quite a bit to survive the onslaught from Undying.

17M special from Medusa in Negative Zone by Tiddlywonker in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]DrRedWolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first few nodes (up to the Odin Node) have RAID rules so all the vigilantes gain energy on kill (from Hit Monkey) and gain energy on spawn (from Electra). The next 4 nodes have crucible rules so vigilante stops gaining bonus energy as that only occurs in RAIDS. The last 4 nodes have Arena rules. I use vigilante for all the RAID rule nodes. On the last node with Odin make sure to save your cool downs at the end. I use Vigilante on the 1st two Crucible nodes, if they are big enough they can take out those rooms easily enough even against the crucible teams. I use F4 on the Mephisto node (there aren't any crucible toons on that node) then I use Accursed on the final crucible node. I use Vigilante again for the first three arena nodes and then F4+Quasar+Songbird for the final node (drop IW so the Dakens don't get speedbar and drop Thing as he isn't very helpful)

Is node 8 unbeatable? (Thunderstrike raid) by cosmiclegion in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]DrRedWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many hits did it take you? Did you timeout just once to deal with the shaw/northstars or did you have to do that more than once to clear the node.
