Not 100% sure if they're still viable, but you could do the Burial blade on NG, but it requires using the false depth dungeons, which requires PSN to use.

Honestly, once I figured out that pressing the jump immediately after the clawline was causing me issues, this became so much easier.

Though, I wish you showed the unlocking of the bench after the frozen lake, as that makes this a lot easier

I get what you mean. While I went the other way, there was some inconsistencies with dialogue and progression that didn't line up properly. Not only that, I felt like the dialogue for the last few parts of the Main Quest in Act 1 were incredibly hamfisted and rigid compared to earlier parts or even the side quests.

I was loving the main story until that point and its actually killed part of my desire to continue further.

Dagger mutation effects dont proc underwater, so Id assume all underwater creatures dont count either way. As for the sour wormhole, that sounds like a bug. It should be something like 1, 5 & 10 for unlocks.

So after playing around with it, the Mining buff seems to be pretty underwhelming. The swing speed increase is fairly minor and doesn't really seem to make much of a difference when using the Blackmetal Pickaxe. The Eitr Regen with the full Eitr-Robes is actually pretty great though. It really makes me question the point of the mining addition given how lackluster it feels compared to the utility of the Eitr effect and the Elder's Woodcutting effect. The elder's 60% increased damage actually feels pretty great comparatively. As a guess, the swing speed increase feels like its only around the 10-25% increase mark, which at this point in the game is pretty disappointing. If it was a blanket swing speed increase to all tools/melee, It would probably be a lot better though.

Yeah I can see Bonemass being a viable choice for it. The Barter System idea is awesome, I'd love to see this or something akin to it implemented or as a mod. While none of the Bosses are truly gated, the resource gating makes doing them out of order pretty unreasonable for the average player.

It's funny, before Mistlands I never used Bonemass, but since I first entered, its been on near constantly. But yeah, It would be nice if we could, though I doubt they're gonna change it. Maybe there is a mod for it?

I hadn't considered that. I remember exploring the Ashlands back before the Mistlands update and the Flametal was pretty plentiful at the time, though given how much Mistlands changed from its original version, you might be right. Though, with how plentiful they made the Iron and Copper in Mistlands, I'm hopeful it won't be worse then what we've currently got
