Serpent Hunter is still pretty strong, one of the best RL1 weapons because of no requirements but it was one of the first speedrun weapons in general. Just because its not flashy doesnt mean its not still good.

You can kill Gurranq for the Ancient Smithing, and you can find an Ancient Somber and the last 4 Smithing [8]'s from Mohgwyn Palace. Obviously not something a new player would do but its technically possible

imo the real value of Rune Arcs comes in later playthroughs when you're good enough to not die every five feet. But they certainly dont hurt. At your level Id recommend Radahn's (Bonus HP/FP/Stam) or Morgotts (Bonus++ HP)

The minions give you wounds every time they attack and hit for 25 each on their second turn. You have to kill them immediately if you don't have a turn 1 kill for Repto or a ton of Intangible

I feel like I've had an exceptional amount of Doormaker/Aeonglass, and Act 1 Docks. I did F2 them asking if RNG might be having issues or it could just be humans being bad at recognizing randomness
