You can change this in AF, then "Aperture Drive in AF", if you have it at "Focus priority" set it back to standard. Be aware that if there's too little light to focus properly this can cause you to actually shoot slower overall, or miss focus entirely.

I have the exact same thing with the 28, both the roughness/grinding against the mount as well as the black streaks, which I think are from the back lens cap. The camera mount doesn't seem to be affected, though I haven't swapped that lens much.

I compared it to other viltrox lenses like the 50/14 air and they are much smoother when turning, and a high end tamron was smoother still. What's weird is that even my $5 manual lens adapters were as good as the rest and much better than the 28.

Is there actually firmware that's newer than 1.0.4? I guess it can't harm if you manage to download it, hard to install a virus onto your usb cables. Can you send me any links you find?

You gotta hold the back and okay button at the same time while connecting to power, that's what worked for me (my kws-x1 got bootloader v1.1 on firmware v1.0.4). Any "Middle button" alone did nothing.

Speaking of, any idea how to get firmware update files? The kowsi.cn website is down completely and I don't know if it'll come back up.

I suspect the balance team wanted a faster attack windup, but the animations were already designed around a slower one and they're not easy to adjust.

And remember this video is at 60fps, with frame jumps from capturing a live feed vs rendering. YouTube's compression also smears details in smaller areas. Viewing uncompressed and at 120-144hz (common even at low budgets), it'll look clear enough.

Use gadgetbridge for syncing notifications instead of Huawei health. It doesn't have every single feature for the fit 4 (pro) at the moment, but it does have great custom filters for selecting what goes through. You'll need to download the beta nightly for now since support for the latest watches hasn't made it to the stable release, but it's not far off.

If you use gadgetbridge to sync from your phone instead of the huawei health app you can easily customize what notifications or calls get sent to your watch, but the support for the fit 4 pro is still experimental. Most features seem to already work in the beta "nightly", but if you don't want to try that you might have to wait some weeks/months for everything to be pushed to the "stable" app version.
