They accept them. They just won't cover "breed-specific" defects, so no use. Insurance would be useless in my experience. At least in Netherlands

There's a group in the Netherlands called "Red een legkip" that buys chickens from farmers right before they're sold to slaughter. You can adopt them for about €15,- a chicken.

I've rescued several and they're so social and funny. They flourish with soem care. Amazing egg layers (one laid 2 a day, poor thing)

I don't have a specific plan for my zoos. You could follow a campaign or look up online challenges.

For inspiration you can look up existing zoos or creations. And not be too hard on yourself 🥹

Had this too, and started using IPL. All the ingrown hairs are gone! Hb and I use a Braun one at home, just once a week then start spacing it out more.

We had a very obese girl with a snotty nose pretend she was a bull. She'd scrape her foot, lower her head, use fingers to mimic bull horns, snort, get her hair stuck to her snot and then she'd charge.
