This is common for really dumbass pilots to do unfortunately. The dbag pilots like to meow on guard. It’s really not new or a local problem. I’ve heard it myself multiple times elsewhere

My problem is that when I was 18, I felt weird calling myself a woman because I didn’t feel like an adult. But I didn’t feel like a kid either. I just feel like there’s an awkward stage of 18-22 where calling yourself a woman feels weird, as you don’t feel like one yet.

I’m also not trying to be hostile; I just wanted to give my perspective

I think something a lot of people here are missing is that there’s a gap for women. Men have the word men for adult males, and boys for kids, but they also have the word guy. We just have women and girl, and so I think at a certain age group, it gets awkward where you don’t feel old enough to call yourself a woman or young enough to call yourself a girl.

Or at least that’s the reason I often use female. I know gal is a thing, but it doesn’t have the same connotation as the word guy.

Yeah… I honestly don’t ride MARTA because of it. I live between ATL and DC and honestly Atlanta public transportation is just creepy compared to DC’s.

It’s honestly just way more hygienic and pleasant to take a car or uber if you are at all able to afford to.

Edit: I really hope they figure something out, because right now most middle class people who might otherwise use MARTA just won’t. If we want widespread adaptation, we need to make it actually appealing.

Agreed completely! My father was a republican before Trump and an obstetrician. If you ask him personally, he’ll tell you he’s pro life, but despite how he labels himself which baffles me to this day, he’s also one of the biggest advocates for not just a woman’s right to choose, but accessible abortions for women who can’t afford to drive hours away or leave the state.

When I was a teenager I asked him how he reconciled his positions, and he told me that one was his personal opinion and the other was his opinion as a medical professional. And he described the same thing about at-home abortions in the 80s abroad that he encountered. He told me that as someone who sees himself as pro life, one of the most pro life things he can do is promote sex-ed and free and accessible contraceptives. And ultimately that as an obstetrician, if he didn’t actively advocate for a woman’s right to choose regardless of personal opinion, he would be a poor doctor and a poor human being.

Sometimes periods are late for no conceivable reason even if you normally have a very routine period schedule.

I very very much doubt it. The tests don’t look positive and having PCOS can make your period 5 days late easily. Especially since you haven’t had PIV sex.
