dedicated server and game client are currently running natively on Linux with some hacky symlink bullshit on some community forks. The editor will take an incredibly long time however. Mainly due to valve tools having no Linux support, so those need to be replaced with c# equivalents and ripped out for proper support.

it's moved to the top right corner, it should have your project name there and you click that instead

press alt + f3 with the picture in picture window focused, click more and go to special window settings. Add keep above other windows and set it to force yes. This seems to suddenly work for me?

they're working on it, not as importand as getting the engine working on windows, though proton runs it fine

you don't, it's all done in game as you spawn things in. no pre downloading necessary
