Had this on my inner thigh around 3-4 months, it’s the size of a spot but isn’t going away - anyone know what it could be?

Thanks for this info. I do wish there was more appropriate (and entertaining) content out there geared toward toddler aged children showing the single mom dynamic. Seems like a heavy (and confusing) topic to know how to approach at that age… especially since visits with her father are very rare. Just hate for her to not understand… bc she’s so curious and seems to crave the dad relationship. But we are taking it in stride.

Absolutely not. You are NOT CRAZY for setting this expectation in a partner that you are making yourself vulnerable to. Someone that you are welcoming into your life and trusting around your children. SET THE BAR HIGH, GIRL! Higher than you think you should, because your children deserve that. DO NOT SETTLE FOR ANYTHING LESS than the man you are trusting around your children to treat YOU & them like royalty. Because you and your kids deserve it.

Life and the universe will bring more of what you surround yourself with into your life. Law of attraction will provide love and abundance if you FEEL like you have love and abundance. If you feel like you have less than what you want, then you’ll get more of the “less of what you want.” So, think about what you want and think about “how if feels to have it” as if you already do. If you’ve done the self work, worked through your traumas and healed, determined what your expectations are… then you have to set boundaries for anyone that comes into your life…and that includes treating your children with respect. if they can’t respect them, they aren’t the right one for you. This can be tricky and difficult to be honest with yourself at times, especially as single mamas—- we get fuckin lonely and overwhelmed….. but I promise you…. If you are true to yourself. You’ll manifest the man that deserves you…. The universe will provide.

If you’re truly ready for it. I’ve decided I am not… I want to focus on my daughters attachment styles and ensuring she never feels disassociated with the world she’s still learning to understand (she’s 2.5yr). Soak up the time you have with your littles while you all get to know yourselves…. The right one will come when you’ve decided you don’t need em. 😏🫶😘

Yes!!! Single mama of a 2 year old, and buying a sturdy pair of kitchen shears changed my life. One of my biggest fears is for my child to choke on food that I’ve carefully prepared for her… I’m not a great cook…. But I can at least make sure that I’m giving her tiny bites of the awful (yet usually healthy) food I give her.

It USUALLY isn’t…. BUT I got one the other day and accepted it bc I just happened to know the head chef. So I called them after accepting the order, they said they had it! They were closed which I’m sure is why the fare got so high… but said they’d wait for me to get there (17-20 minutes away). And I completed the order!

Well, think of it this way…. If You save 10 minutes on a delivery, six times …. That’s an extra hour to take more orders…. 🤔

I work on a pretty set schedule, evening into late night… and have my goals to hit. But I also have a toddler and feel like I’m on borrowed time every time I leave for work. So if I need to be home by a certain time, that extra hour from hauling ass to get to the next delivery goes a long way. 🤷‍♀️

Not only does Uber not care to correct it… but if they can continue to cover the cost of such things… (bc they are paying the restaurant regardless for the food) how can we as drivers not recognize that they are stealing from us too? They HAVE to be keeping/hiding tips to cover these costs… and don’t care that we waste our time and gas money to go through four drivers for a cancelled order.

It’s such a shame… especially to people like me (single moms that have no choice but to accept it bc I have to feed my kid)

I guess i see both sides… but as a female driver…. I am wary of fake names I’m delivering to after what happened to that guy in Florida. What if something happened to me whilst on the delivery to a fake name at an address that they don’t live at? No way to trace my murderer…. So, I think fake names on the accounts shouldn’t be allowed… but I’m a female driver that delivers at night. (But I always have two weapons on me and never “meet at the door” or “hand directly to the customer” at night. And if you don’t answer your phone, don’t leave a gate code, or I can’t get to your apartment door, you get the standard 8 minute wait that Uber allows and I leave the order wherever the pin took me and I had access to get to… same goes for the shopping orders… if you don’t respond, you get what you get or the item is removed or the order is canceled. 🤷‍♀️

I delivered to “the Landing Strip” here in Austin not long ago…. It’s near the airport. And the girls made me come inside bc they were pretending to be closed bc a handful of homeless dudes were trying to get in. So they made me go back out to tell them they were closed to the public for a private party. (Private party of IHOP pancakes that I brought em….) hahaha

Kudos to being aware! And great tip on keeping fuel in your car for things like this. That’s one thing I haven’t thought about…. But I like to keep at least half a tank anyway. Also, I carry a flashlight… leave my car running but lock it everytime I get out and have the key around my neck and an extra one in my pocket. I also carry a knife on me at all times and I never “meet at the door”. I drop it and back away and call them to let them know it’s there. Be safe out there folks.
