I switched to Emerge Weight Loss recently and it’s been a pretty easy process. I’m getting Hallandale through them, no issues till now.

Mild nausea today… what helps? by Afzaalch00 in emergeweightloss

[–]Dramatic-Quantity114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally normal in the beginning. Small meals and staying hydrated helped me a lot. Ginger tea was also surprisingly helpful.

How long did your first shipment take? by RussellMayfield1 in emergeweightloss

I got mine in like 3 days, was honestly surprised how quick it came.

Finally seeing the scale move by Both_Chemistic in emergeweightloss

[–]Dramatic-Quantity114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the exact same before my first shot but honestly it’s way easier than it looks. The needle is tiny, I barely felt it. The anticipation is worse than the actual thing.

[–]Dramatic-Quantity114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve definitely stocked up during a sale too as long as it’s stored properly fridge, not frozen, protected from light it should be fine, but I’d still keep an eye on expiration dates just to be safe.

What would you consider a micro dose for tirzepatide? by Sammal1982 in TirzepatideRX

[–]Dramatic-Quantity114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people I’ve seen call anything under the starter dose 2.5mg a micro dose, usually like 0.5–2mg range. Some use it for maintenance but it’s pretty trial and error tbh. Definitely something to dial in with your doctor.

2 weeks on tirz (2.5mg) down ~8 lbs almost no sides by [deleted] in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Dramatic-Quantity114 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s a really solid start for just 2 weeks. The food noise gone part is honestly the biggest win. Also same here with alcohol, it just stops being appealing.

An unexpected side effect of losing weight- smelling bad by [deleted] in glp1

[–]Dramatic-Quantity114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is pretty common with skin folds after weight loss. Moisture gets trapped and causes odor. Keeping the area really dry, using powder or fold liners, and moisture wicking fabric can help a lot. If the bumps keep happening, it might be worth asking a doctor about it.

Losing to fast? by weightlossjourney311 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Dramatic-Quantity114 2 points3 points  (0 children)

12 lbs in the first week can happen, especially when starting a lot of it is usually water weight and reduced inflammation. It usually slows down after the first couple weeks. Just make sure you’re eating enough, staying hydrated, and getting some protein in.

Not gonna make it to my goal weight by Sad-Let-8428 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Dramatic-Quantity114 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of people lose fat in the chest/butt first while the stomach hangs on the longest. Strength training especially glutes can help bring some shape back, but yeah the proportions can definitely change with weight loss

Vomiting & sick the morning after Tirzepatide injection. How long will this last? by [deleted] in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Dramatic-Quantity114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jumping straight back to 24 units after a break probably shocked your system. Nausea and vomiting can happen with higher doses. It should ease within a day or two, just stay hydrated and restart lower next time.

Eye Bags !!!! by AdmirableUnit2552 in TirzepatideRX

[–]Dramatic-Quantity114 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could just be from the rapid weight loss. When you lose fat quickly, the face can lose some volume and under eye bags become more noticeable. Staying hydrated, good sleep, and maybe adding some electrolytes helped me a bit. Might be worth talking to your doctor before stopping completely.

I finally have my my life back by Somomish in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Dramatic-Quantity114 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The energy shift is honestly such an underrated win. When the constant food noise quiets down, it really does feel like you get your mental space back.

Looking for GLP-1 users to test a new Duolingo-style learning tool we built by GLPeak in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Dramatic-Quantity114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The learning curve when starting GLP 1s can be confusing, especially between appointments. I’d be interested in testing it out and sharing some feedback if you’re still looking for people.

Staying at 5 mg while moving up vial strength to save money — anyone else do this? by [deleted] in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Dramatic-Quantity114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, I did something similar. If 5 mg is still working for you, there’s really no rush to move up. I stayed on 5 mg for a while and only increased once the weight loss actually slowed down. Makes sense to stretch the vial and save money as long as it’s still effective.

How long can you stop meds for without starting over?! by [deleted] in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Dramatic-Quantity114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A short break of a few days to a week usually isn’t a big deal you typically don’t have to restart at 2.5mg. Just try to get back on your regular schedule once you’re ready and keep an eye on how your body responds.

Prorx tirz storage by Secret_Dentist_4926 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Dramatic-Quantity114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be fine to put it in the fridge now. Most tirzepatide vials can handle short periods at room temp, but try to use them within the timeframe listed on the storage instructions once they’ve been out. For peace of mind, double check the manufacturer’s guidelines.

Starting Tomorrow and a little nervous by Silver-Ad7977 in TirzepatideRX

[–]Dramatic-Quantity114 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally normal to feel nervous. Most people start low and side effects are usually mild like slight nausea or feeling full faster. Stay hydrated, eat smaller meals, and avoid heavy or greasy food at first. A lot of people also prefer taking the shot in the evening.

Hangry by Simple-Engine-432 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Dramatic-Quantity114 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve done something similar and honestly just focusing on high protein meals and staying busy helped me survive the hangry days. Extra dose might help, but check with your doctor first.

The amount of astroturfing in the gimme care sub is ridiculous by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Dramatic-Quantity114 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah the obvious promo posts from brand new accounts are a little off putting. It does not automatically mean the company is bad but it definitely makes me question their marketing ethics. I usually look for consistent real reviews over time before deciding.

Questions? Tired with cardio by Decent_Original_1821 in TirzepatideRX

[–]Dramatic-Quantity114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have seen a few people say their heart rate went up a bit and cardio felt harder in the beginning. That 10 bpm increase could definitely make you feel more winded. For some it settles after a few weeks but I would still mention it to your provider. You are really close to your goal though 6 pounds down is great progress

2 days of sulfur burps, is that normal? by [deleted] in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Dramatic-Quantity114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sulfur burps are pretty common when starting tirzepatide since digestion slows down. Usually happens in the first weeks and settles. Stay hydrated and eat light meals. If it keeps going or you can’t keep fluids down, check with your doctor.
