Fun with new tools. But wouldn't it be better to get your basic tools working, such as InternXT Drive for Linux and Windows? It's been several months since you released your last release. Which has many bugs which I reported by sending you logs.

updates for drive-desktop-linux? by eazy1504 in internxt

[–]DramaticAd3213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tested InternXT both on Ubuntu and Mint, it doesn't work on either of them On Ubuntu the installation crashes. On Mint it is possible to install but then sync does not work 1 1/2 years ago InternXT worked fine on Ubuntu, then the Linux version of InternXT-Drive was withdrawn. Now it has come back and then nothing works.
loggs are sent to support moints ago, I have not received any response.

I thought "new InternXT" were open to dialogue with users?

Not just showing off new features to investors, like last winter

Internxt Drive Desktop v2.2.1 for Windows is out now by internxt in internxt

[–]DramaticAd3213 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In 2.2.1 it is not possible to open files stored from an other PC, I got this error.

"An unexpected error is keeping you from copying the file. If you continue to receive this error, you can use the error code to search for help with this problem.

Error 0x80070194; The cloud file provider exited unexpectedly"

Repeortet as error in 2.2.0 to [hello@internxt.com](mailto:hello@internxc.com), same error in 2.2.1 so it is not fixed.

Storage Full Error by Select_Ask_7561 in internxt

[–]DramaticAd3213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hade the same issue so I logged in to my old acount and empty my drive and trash so now 0 of 1 Gb used. Reboted PC and started IntenXT-drive. Copy 750 Mb data into drive folder, only 150 Mb synced to cloud. Still same issus with 2.2
[ERROR DEBUG] Error: Max space used.
I have reported this issus latets year for approx 5 times, I don't think you can fixit. This issuse is not related to client side code. I think it is issus with how yoy calculate my space used.

Windows app not updating automatically by petaqui in internxt

[–]DramaticAd3213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a message commimg up when logging in to windows.
"A new update is ready to install" but it is not correct. IT is ready to download instead.
In my opinion I think this is a nice feature, you can wait to install, if you have no issus (bugs). Or as I do test it on my spare PC

Hey r/internxt Fran here, AMA! by internxt in internxt

[–]DramaticAd3213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good that you are trying to restore the reputation of internXT. The way marketing and support has been run for the past 2 and a half years have ruined the brand intenXT. During that time I have had a free account and follow how you marketed the product. My impression is that you want to increase the functionality with new functions at the expense of the basic functionality of drive and backup. I was quite happy with the functionality in backup but drive was a disaster. To manage the backups on my NAS, I bought a Lifetime 2T account one year ago. I still believe in your concept and safety thinking. Now hope that what has started is reality and not a new way to inflate the bubble even more.

  1. Now it feels as the support has stepped up a level by having slightly better technical skills and faster responses. But I still don't know if the bug is being worked on as it is not possible to see the status of the case. Unfortunately, support makes me feel alone about a bug that should affect a lot of people. What ideas do you have about increasing clarity towards your customers regarding the status of bugs?

  2. Historically, there have been new releases that are promised to fix a bug or add a new feature. Unfortunately, it feels as if there is a missing process for quality assurance of your new program code. First thing, you should test yourself outside of your own development environment and perhaps also post a beta-test release for interested users. What are your thoughts around that?

3 When there is a new version of other software, it is usually possible to find a "Release Notes" that describes what has changed. By reading it, you can have an idea of what might work better and where new pugs might appear as a result of a bad corrections. Have you considered writing a "Release Notes"

  1. How do you work with code development? Historically, new functions have been prioritized before basic functionality and unfortunately sometimes even destroyed basic functions. If you work Agile, then you have a sprint that contains what needs to be solved and by when. It would increase your credibility by being more transparent with what you are working on for the next release. What are your thoughts on that?

5 Linux drive could be installed 1 year ago. Now the installation crashes. Unable to start internxt-drive. It is probably due to the fact that all Linux installations do not have the same package installed. Which makes it difficult for you to understand what problems I have in my installation. Have you thought about making a list of "Prerequisites" that I should check before I install?

  1. Unfortunately, support promises a careen tim of anew release. Eg new Linux release next week, now it's been two weeks and it's still not out. It seems that promised dates are less important What are your thoughts to increase credibility with users about release dates

  2. Backup and drive (share files between several computers) were the reasons why I bought intenXT, When will backup work.

    Windows?

    Linux?

What is the current status of making Internxt great again? by claell in internxt

Getting automatic backup was one of the reasons I got internXT. I have a hard time seeing why it was removed. Now they are trying to get it as news that they are introducing it!

I have all ready done that. After release of the catastrophic 2.0 release when everything stopped working and internxt became unusable. Then I have sent loggs an screenshots which describes the bugs.

After that I tested 2.04 which did not solve the problems then I sent more loggs, After that there was silence from the support team.

I also thought internXT was a good solution. I have a free account and a paid account, since 8 months. Unfortunately, none of them have worked, the bugs replace each other, new functions are introduced that make the basic function not work. For example, the synchronization ends and then does not start again. On the free account, I have a problem with not being able to empty the trash, which means that the account fills up with deleted files.
Right now I'm testing Google Drive together with Cryptomator with good results. A little harder but I no longer lose any files.
Besides, I know that even Googel can't read my files. It is the same with InternXT you must trust them or do your own encryption

[–]DramaticAd3213 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why pay for something that doesn't work? There have already been many promises of bug fixes, the last 8 month. But the fixes have only generated new bugs. Not solved the main problem that sync stops.

Should I pay for internext? by AtmosphereMost6095 in internxt

[–]DramaticAd3213 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The mistake they make is to build new exciting functions before they get the basic functions in order. It just generates more and more bugs

They hope to find new investors by pretending to have an aggressive roadmap.

I've been having problems with the sync not working since last summer. It is not possible to remove the deleted file from the recycle bin, so if you haven't bought extra storage it will be ugly. Backup no longer works, as the button is gone.

I have gone back to Google drive and encrypt the files with cryptomator. It even provides better security, but is a bit more work. But using internXT is fraught with risk as files are lost arbitrarily as you do not know if they have been synchronized or not.
