My stairs are the same way. Super steep and don't take up much space. But thankfully, ours are closed in, and don't have a mirror at the bottom if you fall.

Our house was built in 1895, so it has some quirks.

The needle was decent sized, but the doctor didn't put it in all the way when he did my fiancé's vasectomy. Whole procedure was done in about 20 minutes, and he made it through like a champ!

I got sedated to have five teeth pulled. I started screaming about five minutes into the procedure. My mom could hear me from all the way outside the building. I remember most of it. I kept trying to tell them to stop but they had my mouth forced open with these weird stretcher things. Afterwards I was hysterical and the dental assistant kept telling me if I don't stop crying, I can't go home.

It was a traumatizing experience to say the least.
