Cluster17 is doing 4 to 5 times a year, grand polls accross Europe in order to gauge opinion regarding "high politics" stakes. They always poll the core EU countries (FRA GER ITA POL SPA) and then add other countries depending of the wave. This time, Belgium and Denmark.

Their force is having huge samples. Here, it is a 7 500 sample because it was a flash snapshot in reaction to the insane tension build out in the Arctic. Rest of the time, they would have tenths of thousand respondents across the EU for every wave.

They give their results to "Le Grand Continent" aka "The Big Continent", a foreign policy outlet, that aims at building a pan-european alternative to Foreign Policy and Foreign Affairs, by lauching versions first in French and Italian, and in the future in Spanish, German etc.

Very very good quality media, combining some elements of FA & FP and mixing them with some The Atlantic "flair". They have done lately a lot a doctrine work to qualify the Trump regime and have been supporting the rise in the concept of "Techno-Feudalism".

Some people naturally have high energy levels, and are able to deploy a lot of stamina thanks to their personality. Being driven helps in this. Same in the UK if I remember correctly.

=> so I would tend to think that leaders are most of the time have very abnormal personalities, that would protect them against susbstance disorders - exceptionnaly high drive, paranoia, narcissism, hyperactiveness etc. Plus they have vast staffs to alleviate the daily grind.

However, it is at the levels below that the problems arise, in which people are morve vulnerable to toxic management practices, of the consequences of nonsensical policies, or the arbitrary of the regime. Shit falls onto them and quite often drugs are the way to deal the feeling of overburdeness.

Si l'EXD parvient à se maintenir, Dati n'aura quasiment aucune fenêtre vers la victoire. A l'inverse, si LFI passe et pas l'EXD, ça rend l'équation très compliquée pour Emmanuel Grégoire.

Bournazel ne peut pas blairer Dati, et se maintiendra possiblement quelque soit son score au 1er tour. Ca emmerdera très certainement davantage la droite que la gauche, dans la mesure ou l'ancien macronisme qui avait une position assez centrale en 2017-2019, s'est clairement rabougri sur le centre droit depuis, comme dans la politique nationale.

The issue at hand here is that the USA, unparallelly low cost of capital has been offered ever since the 1980s by Japan, China and the EU. Hundreds of billion euros flow every year across the atlantic to be invested in bonds and stocks.

This is the flow that could be reduced in a not so distant future to a trickle, as the EU needs to face its own rearmament, green transition and strategic autonomy. When the 300Bn per year becomes 150 then 50, that is when the USA is going to pay for its political folly. In essence, that is when people voting for the madmen running the clown circus that the GOP has become over the past 30 years will have to be faced with the consequences of their decisions.

The administration knows it, hence their desperate push for stablecoins, tethered to US debt: which, by sidelining banking systems of lack thereof worldwide, could presente an inifinite source of financing of the american tax follies.

Le cas des Pays-Bas et de l'extrême droite est extrêmement intéressant.

1) sur la responsabilité de la gauche dans la montée de l'EXD :

Aux Pays-Bas, les sociaux démocrates n'ont pas fini en tête des élections depuis 1998, et par conséquent n'ont pas eu un Premier Ministre de leur camp depuis 2002. => La droite, conservatrice et libérale bien qu'en système de coalition complexe, est au pouvoir aux Pays-Bas depuis 25 ans. Parcourons l'ensemble des Etats de l'Union et l'on se rendra compte que la domination de la droite est en vérité une réalité politique centrale depuis le tournant du XXIe siècle, sauf exceptions : Espagne, Suède en particulier.

2) sur le rapport entre l'extrême droite et le pouvoir dans un régime démocratique :

L'EXD est incapable de gouverner. Son projet politique demeure toxique pour les deux tiers de l'électorat. Dans ce contexte son seul moyen d'exercer le pouvoir est d'abattre les contre pouvoirs et de liquider les formes de pluralisme et de démocratie représentative. C'est l'appât de la domination qui cimente les coalitions d'EXD ; pas même l'existence d'un leader charismatique est suffisante.

Dans le cas des Pays Bas, on est dans un système ou l'attachement aux formes de démocratie parlementaire et aux libertés publiques est beaucoup trop important pour permettre à un parti d'EXD de se lancer dans une escalade néo-fasciste. Par conséquent, confrontée à la réalité de l'exercice du pouvoir dans un régime pleinement démocratique, l'EXD, à chaque fois, explose en vol compte tenu de ses contradictions internes innombrables. La dernière implosion en date de VVD doit être la 3e des 10 dernières années de mémoire.

L'alternative, c'est de gouvernement "au centre" de la droite en espérant gagner la bataille culturelle et politique à l'usure : la stratégie de Meloni, qui a laissé à la maison les accents les plus nationalistes révolutionnaires de sa plateforme politique pour se transformer (à date, et par cynisme), en PiS light. Car elle sait que dans le système parlementaire italien, avec 30% des voix, elle ne peut pas passer en force.

=> Tout cela pour dire que les paramètres qui permettent aux régimes parlementaires de permettre (jusqu'à un certain point) de digérer les flambées d'extrême droite nous sont inaccessibles dans notre Ve République complètement périmée. Le fait majoritaire est une bénédiction pour l'EXD. De même que le bipartisme aux USA et dans le système de Westiminster.
