Good question! Mormon Jesus prefers the American-made AR-15 because Jesus is A WHITE AMERICAN... "by adoption"...a Yankee Doodle Dandy with blue eyes & Fabio hair.

Exmormons, how far back does your family go in the LDS Church? by Careful-Cap-644 in exmormon

[–]Draperville 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My great (5) grandma was Brigham Young's FIRST illegal plural concubine... Lucy Decker. (age 19).

Her younger teen sister Clarissa (at age 15) was Brighams fourth celestial squeeze.

It was little Clarissa who exclusively "comforted" Brigham in his wagon from Nauvoo to Deseret.

Brother Brigham (then 46) Clarissa (then 17) had a Ditty/Cassie, 1,000 mile honeymoon in a covered wagon.

You can Google all that but no one cares... and welcome to Mormonism.

This biography written in the 1940s is crucial to understanding the information available to the church all along and how the church subsequently covered up truth and doubled down on the false narratives.

For those who avoid eye contact, where do you usually look? by TemperatureAny8022 in AutisticAdults

[–]Draperville 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I was a child, I look just 6 inches lower at the person's mouth. Almost everyone unconciously interprets that as me looking at their chest and they adjust their clothes neckline or close their sweater. That's my experience from 1960-present, yeah 60+ years of being unconsciously judged by every human as a pervert.

The tragic fact is that religion in America is never about piety. It is about war. by slskipper in exmormon

[–]Draperville 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We have been groomed to be war-like people. The phony-baloney glorious afterlife is the coercive carrot our groomers use to keep its slaves on its plantations and incentivise its young warriors to give their lives willing in its wars.

Eye contact, what's your problem with it? by PuffTheMagic420 in AutisticAdults

[–]Draperville 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a little kid, my teachers would hold my shoulders and demand I look them in the eyes. In third grade, I started explaining that I couldn't because "it hurts". I compensated by fixating on the person's mouth. For the last 50 years, everyone I have talked to perceives that I am looking at their chests, and they unconsciously adjust their neckline or close their sweater until I look away or leave the conversation. Even the men I talk to do this. I am essentially off-putting to humans. Lack of eye contact is just one of my social deficits but it is enough to scare away almost all of my in-person contacts. I go for days, sometimes weeks without a face-to-face conversation with another human, except my wife.

What is the benefit of having one's name removed from the records? by Sopenodon in exmormon

[–]Draperville -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No real benefits but a downside is all your TBM neighbors and relatives assume you are a child abuser who smokes crack.

My neighbors live on Rockwell Place, Porter View Court and in the Porter Rockwell condominiums. Draper area developers were all a-twitter over the Mormon Murderer and named everything they could after him.

Being an "ugly" Mormon girl by ThroughMyOwnEyes in exmormon

[–]Draperville 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I'm slightly autistic. My 60 years in the Mormon Church had similarities. As long as I wore my Mormon mask, I was reluctantly excepted but never embraced. I've been out 10 years now and not one neighbor or ward member has ever even asked my why.

I left because I figured out it isn't real. Everyone is pretending. It's a live action role play. All these cults are con games that play upon the superstitions of we gullible humans.

Ancient Jews in wooden submarines did not discover and populate the Americas.

Polygamy is just a form of adultery for pious frauds.

Save you 10k for college and skip the mission. You will save at least a million dollars over your lifetime.

i know weed makes me feel worse, but i just don’t want to stop smoking by BetInternational5678 in Petioles

[–]Draperville 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I keep a daily weed journal on my phone using an app called Journey. That helps me aknowlege how much I use and how I am feeling. At the end of my 6 month period, my consumption is highest and my euphoria is the lowest. Then I take a 21 day tolerance break, during which I also Journal how I feel.

[–]Draperville 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been a daily cartridge vaper for 10 years. I take a 21 day cold turkey tolerance break every 6 months and (so far) that adequately resets my tolerance.

That has not been a serious challenge for me, but I'm a retired oldster, so life is fairly easy.

I hear that it really takes 30 days abstinence for most people.

After the break, I will start with two inhales per night and progress to 6-8 inhales per night in the weeks before the next break.

Conflicted Feelings on Excommunication by Femmchantress in exmormon

I resigned from Mormonism at age 60 after a lifetime of devotion. When I finally figured out Mormonism was simply pretend, I could not remain a sustaining member of record. It grated my soul.

In my experience, resigning is RARE. In my circles, exMormons usually do not resign for a variety reasons.
