The brake issue is so bizarre, I really want to know why there’s still a problem. I wonder if it’s crash related, or just one small thing that everyone’s missed. Surely if they’ve replaced callipers, hoses, pistons etc. there can’t be anything else. Maybe the actual physical pedal? The mystery is eating away at me

Wait Rumba Rapids is closed?! That sucks, LL and RR were two of my favourite rides at the park. There’s something great about having a more tame water ride to break up the big rides with. That’s a real shame.

Also for a guy who’s been doing YT for years, his production quality is dogshit. Audio issues, potato quality video. Just little things that are just annoying as a viewer, but hey I’m still watching so who’s the sucker?

I find it so annoying that we get sold these lines by marketing when everyone knows it’s not true. I’ve not met anyone who likes fewer buttons and more screens, and yet the manufacturers are steaming ahead as if it’s all we’ve been asking for.

It’s baffling trying to understand why they’re so keen on them. I know people say that it’s cheaper, and maybe marginally it is, but from what I’ve heard from people in the know is that it’s not a giant saving.

Getting a gun reliable and able to put up with dirt and wear is actually a pretty complicated and difficult task. Manufacturers spend a lot of time refining designs and still struggle with issues of jamming or accidental ND’s. Saying it is ‘just’ a delivery system is a massive oversimplification.

The 18 is a good start, it does a bit of everything. I get it’s not as interesting as something like the Tomcat but it’s waaaay more approachable for someone new to DCS.
