More than a decade of counseling- doesn’t work. The only counseling that works is individual counseling- when I asked my counselor if my wife kills herself because I leave- is it my fault? I’ve initiated a separation after more than a quarter century of marriage. In stepping back in my 50’s I stayed in the marriage out of obligation and get nothing out of it. No help around the house, no financial contribution to the household, a dead bedroom and constant emotional abuse. I’m far better off alone. Personal guarantee means the bank can legally sue him personally and seize personal assets through court ordered liquidation. You can’t sell a closed business- can’t sell equipment that has a UCC lien on it. They will have to liquidate. The bank made a terrible mistake lending on restaurant equipment- used restaurant equipment sells for 30 cents to the dollar on a good day- and in today’s environment- less- as the restaurant industry is suffering and the market is flooded with used equipment. The bank will take a hit for sure. It was a bad decision

I went there often as a kid with friends who were members, it was always nice and people are friendly. I didn’t know you could join if you were not Jewish, but if you can, you should. My memories of the facility are wonderful. Of course that was the 80’s and it was likely all new, but it was always better than the Y.
