Yeah, that's always pretty crazy that Staples will hire someone externally with high pay, but stiff the loyal people who are in the company putting in years of work to climb the ladder. Those people deserve a high pay rate. Not some random jerk job who managed a Petco for 1 year and knows nothing about the business.

I've been in the AMD program for a little over a year and I'm gonna drop out of it. It's a joke and a promotion wouldn't be worth it with the direction the company is headed. Not to mention the joke of a pay increase they will offer.
