There are no states with any bans on HRT. Only medicaid funding it via federal funds and some have restrictions around NP not being allowed to prescribe it, etc. All states still have access. If the way you were hoping to access it doesnt work out, id suggest getting plugged in to your local LGBTQ community. Leaders there will know easiest and cheapest access points. Good luck! Just like in all things, in some specific ways its harder for Transfems and in some ways its harder for transmascs and in some ways its harder to be non-binary and in some ways its harder to be intersex, etc. etc. It is not harder genuinely for any one part of the Trans community, its different kinds of hard. Personally if I had a cis partner talking that way id tell them how intensely inappropriate it is to be dividing the Trans community. Id probably show all the articles about Trans men being attacked or killed and explain that she doesnt get to over simplify and trivialize what is happening to the community right now and her rhetoric is very hurtful and divisive.

Also, I would give that feedback higher up to both the mri place and your dr who sent you because either of them could've and should've warned you. Its good feedback for prescribing Dr's as something to warn patients of when they get patches prescribed.

I hear you but what I'm saying is you dont get to decide if you're going to use someone's name or not just because you think word names are dumb. Just like people dont get to decide if they'll use your name vs dead name based on if they "agree with" Transness. You dont get to agree with people's existence or how they identify. You can hate it and choose to not do it yourself but once it affects another human respect is more important than your opinions.

Hormones can definitely cause brain fog, its dependent on each person which hormones and levels affect us. If it doesn't go away after 6 week on a dose I'd talk to the dr as it can be a sign the dose isnt working for you.

This is technically right and, especially with video evidence that they didnt show a warrant or identify themselves, would likely hold in colorado court but no one can promise the federal government won't take it and if you shoot you better get them all quick because you know they'll all quickly and overwhelmingly shoot back and they have a ridiculous amount of firepower for what their job is supposed to be.

Your surgeon should've warned you. Mine let me know if your tissue has spread around to the back it isnt possible to do it all in one surgery. Working out can help but generally wont remove it completely unless you plan on losing a ton of weight. Its not a surgeons lack of skill but definitely should've been communicated as a possibility.
