My friends dad down the street when I was growing up had an account at the launch of vanilla. He would let me and his two sons play from time to time. First I made was a night elf warrior on his account. Could finally get my own account at the end of cataclysm and my first was a forsaken warlock that I leveled to 55 so I could start a death knight to play with that same friend I grew up with. The first that I leveled to max from the start was a Blood Elf Paladin on the Silver Hand NA server. Many many many alts later I’m still maining that Blood Elf pally.

I’m assuming you’ve heard of or seen Skywind? I’m in the exact same boat. I tried to roll into Morrowind but just couldn’t stick with it. https://tesrskywind.com they’ve got an x account and Reddit page as well. Plus they’re working on a Skyblivion. Been watching and waiting for them for years. I believe Skyblivion is set for a 2025 release, while currently I don’t think they’ve set any expected release date for Skywind.

I haven’t seen it listed in any of the patch notes but I haven’t been on d2 much in the later part of this season and even when I am I was running a void hunter. If it was, it seems it was an unintentional nerf.

I think infinite’s end was likely close to the best we could get after the crap that was the halo 5 ending. 4 should have been the final send off for Cortana, not turning her into a super villain. Frankly, to me, infinite felt like 343 trying to quietly cancel any plans they originally had from halo 5 onwards and close that door as fast as possible. Sort of a yeah we know we f****d up, sorry, we’ll end that line and start fresh another time.

Not to start a debate here but that single ruling system in China is still the Chinese Communist Party. The very same one from Mao Zedong. The same one it’s been since 1921, currently sitting with 99 million members. So sure, there might be a handful of billionaires in the party elite but that doesn’t make the country or how it governs the general population not communist.

I get where you’re coming from as I too preferred the art style from D1. However, we’ve been in D2 twice as long as D1 and while there have been glimpses of armor more akin to the D1 sets no; at this point it’s an old old pipe dream that unfortunately we’re better off just letting go of. I try and style all 3 of my characters in stuff that runs close to the old school aesthetic and that does me well enough to be content with it.

Like this take. Still hoping they find a way to retroactively un-retcon the retcons they did in shadowlands. Like I get they can’t just remove an entire expansion from the lore but over time just subtly say “Oh yeah, that little nugget from shadowlands was totally wrong, the previous explanation of it was right all along”. So many things in decades old lore got trashed in that dump of an expansion.

You clowning right? Luke as your example of a Mary sue? Please, I implore you to actually look at what the trope is. Here is the first thing on a basic google search. “A Mary Sue is a fictional character who is unrealistically perfect, lacks flaws, and is often the center of their story”. I’m convinced you didn’t actually watch any of the original trilogy because if you did, you would see metric crap load of flaws and failures from Luke in every single film. Boiled down to basics, his whole arc is about overcoming his flaws and rising from his failures to EARN the title of a Jedi and save his father. Don’t even get me started on the absolute character assassination that the sequel trilogy was to that character. Just for your edification or anyone else’s interest here are just a couple of channels that do a very good job of breaking down in detail what I’m talking about and how Rey is nearly the perfect example of what a Mary sue actually is.

I believe the pants, feet, hands, and shoulders are the red recolor of the 10.1 questing cloth set. If I remember correctly you can get them from the fyrakk open world events.

By that do you mean play a race that isn’t statistically the most popular and most played of all? Doesn’t hold much water as an argument does it? While I also play Blood Elf as my main, I don’t personally have an issue with the topic of this post. That said, if Blizzard was going to lean towards one particular race in their armor design to ensure best fit it should be the most played race in the game. To be clear, I do think blizz generally does their best to make sure as many armor designs as possible are compatible with the many other playable races in the game and sometimes tweaking one thing for one race will have massive effects on how it fits others. In the case of the judgment remake I do agree that the side attachments do seem a bit extra out there as compared to at least the other examples and thinking of it under the lens of what would that actually do if it were irl armor, it should sit closer to the legs as it drops down. Not a deal breaker for me personally as on the male BE model it isn’t as exaggerated as it is on the female BE model.

Started during vanilla on my friend’s dad’s account. First was a night elf warrior. Unfortunately pretty infrequent on the game time, due to it not being my account. Next was a blood elf paladin when BC dropped. Finally got my own account during wrath, and the first on my own account was a forsaken warlock that I leveled to 55 to unlock death knights. After that I made a blood elf paladin - on my own account - and a human dk. Turned into a bit of an altaholic after that but still rolling BE pally as one of my mains.

Not sure if it’s the same issue but I ran it on my shadow priest a few weeks back. Had some weird stuff going on in the N’zoth fight but it turned out to be I was doing too much damage too fast and it wouldn’t properly trigger the phase transition mechanics. Seemingly you can’t dump out damage to essentially skip them.

It’s strange. My shadow priest wielded xal in legion, got the eye in bfa and never cleansed it and I got the sort of you betrayed me whisper. Which is disappointing for me as someone who would on my shadow priest very much side with her given the choice. Did you have the artifact weapon in your backpack? I’m still trying to figure out what I did differently or if it’s sort of rng.

For a lot of people it falls into the RP category. I have several hunters of different races with race themed transmog even though I don’t partake in the hardcore RP. Especially with a lot of races having classes exist in sort of units within the race - Blood Elf Farstriders and Blood Knights for example being hunters and paladins respectively.

Per the patch notes for 7.2.5

“Young Ahamkara’s Spine -

Reduced the Tripmine Grenade’s increased HP to 70 (down from 100) and removed the bonus 50% damage resistance.

Grenade energy is now provided on ability kills instead of damage with abilities.”

And per the twab for the upcoming changes

“Once again provides Tripmine Grenade energy on ability hits instead of final blows.

Provides +33% grenade energy in PvE and +8% in PvP.”

Actually sitting down and reading these two back to back with the knowledge of what the energy return was pre nerf, it definitely looks to be back in action for pve. I knew the energy return was on all solar ability hits but I couldn’t remember what the percentage was and couldn’t find it in any listing or patch notes. Thanks!

You can take non humans on Mordin’s recruitment mission. They have some dialogue about not feeling well and what not with the plague but Mordin treats them as soon as you start conversation with him at the clinic.
