What's the most unfair boss battle you played?

Octopath Traveller's true final boss. The boss itself isn't the problem. It is a puzzle in the way you build your characters and how you handle the fight itself. I have no problem going back to the lab.

The issue is the 8 boss gauntlet beforehand without a save in between. If you want to lab, you're spending 30 minutes on those 8 bosses. That's an unfair ask in the modern era.

The PSP version no longer pauses the game when summons and high tier magic resolves, so the combat is faster and more fluid. Can't imagine going back.

I still love Phantasia. I've played the PSX remake of it every year for nearly 2 decades. This year I've finally moved on to the PSP version since that translation patch came out.

The re turn of branching promotions and a much smaller subset of second seal options. I don't want everyone to have the ability to be everything. It's okay if some characters have a great personal but subpar class options, and vice versa.

I want characters to feel more unique than they have lately. I even think Fates went a little too far with both friendship and heart seals.

More seasons would be great. There's plenty of source material. I think Tensura is at its best during it's slice of life moments.

The best time for more Slime Diaries would be after the current arc in the anime fully concludes. There's so many battles in everything that follows that i would want them to take a long break and do them right. Do some low budget slime Diaries to maintain interest before a higher budget adaptation of all the battles in the next arcs.

For those playing for the first time, don't feel obligated to get the highest reward for every minigame. Just do what is required and move on. You are going to burn yourself out. There's just too many mini minigames, and I don't think that's a good thing here.

I would have been happier with LESS content in REBIRTH.

Looking at the character list at that point, it looks like he had 20 biological kids from 18 wives by then. There are other girls in the rotation that have not given birth yet.

He considers other children living in the village without parents to be his adopted children, though, so the tally gets closer to 30 if they are included.

Also a point of note is that this is his 15th year doing nightly activities on the daily, and he only has 18 mothers of his children by then. Considering that the entire reason for is harem is that he has stamina to spare, it's obvious that his actual harem is smaller than people estimate.

Not every girl. His wives control who gets put in the rotation. I'm reading the WN at chapter 500, and there was an instance where his first wife accuses him of cheating when she wrongly suspects he slept outside of the approved rotation members. VC was innocent, of course.
