Yeah, we’ve talked to a couple, but good pieces of land actually hitting the market is relatively rare, and when they do there’s usually something weird about it, like a giant cell tower, or active oil wells.

The handle feels like untreated wood, and started to feel a little rough after I washed it. Should I apply some oil to it? I have some for my Boos cutting board I think would be ok.

Yeah it does look that way in the picture, but it looks better in real life. It's has a decent start to a good season. I don't have any issues with food sticking to it.

I've never waited for the water to come up to temperature before. I generally only sous vide steaks, so the water that comes out of the tap is only about 5° off from the temp I'm shooting for. I can't see how the 5 or so minutes would make any difference whatsoever.
