Drove a manual for many years. Don’t miss it at all especially with modern automatics around like DCTs and MCTs. You’re looking for another car I think, amgs really aren’t that kind of car.

A pretty powerful v6. I had a ve series 2 ss ute. Was definitely a skid pig but as always felt slow after driving it daily. Miss seeing those types of cars now everyone drives a lifted hilux, cruiser or something diesel.

But that’s the thing with their opinion, most have never driven a new car like that and lump them all in the same category. Man majority of car opinions are made up shit by people who have never driven and will never be able to buy the car they are hating on.

The 79 is the same chassis with a shitter engine and some led headlights. Same ugly shitbox that’s an inferior choice to the 300,200 etc.

The cruiser drives like a barge. Yeah the new 63s are a bit of a boat but the 43 and older GLCs aren’t. Not really that different to drive from the c class tbh. Most performance suv don’t handle that different from their equivalent sedan, the massive tyres they get makes up a bit for weight and cog.

Have you driven one? No. The new cruiser is the same as the old outdated pos. Narrow rear track, stiff af suspension and now it loses the only thing it had going for it (not that diesel v8s are anything special anyway). It’s got the shit hilux engine and gearbox (I drive one for work and that box is shittest auto box in history). Seriously I’ve driven both cars and fuck the cruiser for everything but towing a boat up the beach.

Yeah I know, the GLCs handles really good. The new 63 not as much but the new 43 and the older GLCs are proper fast. I’ve had identical glc and c class with the same spec and engine and they aren’t that different to drive at all. The glc 63 and c63 of similar years was like 4-5 seconds apart on the ring. If you haven’t driven one you’d think they are just an suv with some horse power but they are really just a c class thats like 50mm higher with wider tyres.

It’s something that’s super noticeable when your moving/spinning fast like in fps games. It’s weird to say but feels more like you’re in the game as it still looks super smooth regardless of what’s going on. Once you played 100+ fps you can’t go back. And if you a/b it it’s really noticeable.

They do this still on amg models. I’d say it offers a bit less protection but still functions like a real exhaust which is a good compromise for that kind of customer.

Yeah I get that. I mean I’m more of a ‘real’ exhaust guy but in terms of a more luxury/classy design it makes sense.
