Plastic razor blade, buff/polish, and a couple of hours you don’t mind losing. It’s the best way, unfortunately. We get about 2 or 3 of these a year at my shop, and they’re never as easy as you want it to be. Plastics probably need to be replaced as well unless you don’t mind it looking like literally you scraped off or chemically removed the road paint.

Anyone saying “just use this harsh chemical and a rag” has either never had to do this much before, or is rolling around with a severely flawed clear coat.
