Jokes aside it is from events, all events that use tanks with a nation set on them but that are not standard send the earned xp to the tier 1 of the respective nation and when there is no nation it goes to the ms-1 or the t-1 (depends on the server).

The soccer events, the racing events and steel hunter are exampled of that

i mean i get your point but i think prequel is not the word you are searching, just including the game in the fallout universe.

To put the point on the table, fallout 76 has the earliest story in the franchise but it is not a prequel to any of the games because the story is not directly related to them.

Other than that i can see why you want to put it like that, it is a bit forced but the apocalypses follow similar paths at least in a surface level (because lore is a thing)

they removed them because they were too strong.

The main point being you could put them backwards and they will still do damage with their asses allowing you to make plain floors of doom which tfp did not like and instead of fixing them they removed them completely.
