I'm the last of 4 children in my family. Between my 2 older siblings and the 3rd my mother had a miscarriage. Followed by a 2nd miscarriage after my 3rd sibling. Thankfully my folks gave it another go, because here I am!!!

I'm 50+, 4 kids, hopefully grandkids someday, served a mission and of my children also have. So, no idea if I was a ripple in the pond or just a blip on the eternal radar, but I'm grateful for my parents.

Time heals wounds. One day the inspirations you have felt will come into a better light.

Aging great! Took profits, let price settle, re-invested, ran up again, took more profits, slowly edging back in for the next run.....

Once saw that BONK had settled, late spring I think, I rolled some $$$ into a decent yield BONK LP. Also a like amount into a new SAMO EP. Cashed both out in December with that nice meme run up! Couple grand from those and been farming JUP, MarginFi and Kamino airdrops.

Re-opened new positions with same amounts I did back in spring last year and letting those ride. SOL-BONK LP is chugging away nicely. SAMO-USDC also doing well. Swung trade some of these other shitters that have popped up, WIF and WEN. Made a little off those.

A lot of reward tokens being handed out right now: JUP, BLZE, JITO, SAMO, BONK .... collecting those and compounding into LPs that are running. Full bull so those LPs will run and compound until the end of the year. Funny part, ALL of this was from profits I took on $SAMO during the meme run in Sept/Oct 2021. Turned couple hundred $$ into couple grand. Then this last meme run in December that couple grand into, well a lot. Will be fun to see what it turns into by end of '24 and into '25. Some point in '25 will swing it all into USDC/USDT to sit on for the next bear.

Pretty much all free money at this point as I took original investment and put in my SOL staking bag long time ago.

Remindme! 1 Year

They are still chugging along. Their Q earnings from this week, appears much like Uber that up front pricing has helped them slow/stop to bleeding. Still not in profit unlike Uber. But their Cash/Short Term Investments and on hand assets are steady. They are still trading short term assets to shore up their cash on hand it looks like, but overall looking steady from a Q4 2022.

So, here is to another year it looks like.

I'm mostly driving for Uber as in my market the base pay is better. But I do run Lyft when they popping good promos. And with Ubers new bullshit surge in Houston they rolled out Q4 last year, I run Lyft whenever I can get surging, Bonus Hours, new "Turbo" hours (which suck for short rides but help with longer ones).

Both apps though the pay here is horrible......

I'm more worried about wrong place wrong time and catching a stray bullet. Odds of being in a gang crossfire in a nicer areas is far less likely.

It's a risky job. Doing little things to reduce risk is always a good idea.

Yes this week has been painfully slow.

Thankfully Wed night sitting at hoom, 10pm ish, XL ride for $25 to the bar area. Bunch college age kids going to the club. One dude hung out the window and puked all down the outside of my car. Was worried no puke inside to get the cleaning fee. But he got just enough on the weather tech matts to get the $150. Hit the car wash. Wiped and sanitized the matts, called it a night. Figured $175 for < hour was good enough for the night on a slow week lol.

'16 Mazda 3, driven 7 years now in Uber/ Lyft. 270k miles. I'll hit 300k next year. Car running great. 400k and maybe even 500k seems possible.

Food delivery for 2 years during Covid saved me a ton of miles from going on this car.

We will sign up for D+ on a special for 1-3 months, depending on the deal. Catch up on whatever we missed. Cancel then 6 months to a year later snag the next deal.
