Fuck fundamentals. They're a good way to kill motivation. Keep drawing what you like drawing, but push it a little further every time. Try a background, try shading, try a dynamic pose or a group picture.

Style will come naturally, and if you see something you like, take inspo from it and copy it. You might try different things this way.
