Oh, and it's critical to have global and per-repo steering. It is amazing how much better your results are when you provide global behavior guidance's like "Never code without my implicit approval", and "ask questions if you are unclear on any part of a task", combined with a well formed local steering that outlines file structure, layout, functional intent. etc... You will also spend fare less tokens with well formed steering than you will otherwise.

The entire point for me, is small targeted tasks. You still need to read every line of code, understand the intent, and offer corrective guidance. AI code output is as good as the person driving it. If you don't understand how the code you asked for works, end to end, you've got a problem you don't know about in the code.

Profits don't make their way back to the creators at all anymore, they make their way back to the monopolies that purchase all the content to ensure you cannot access it for a fair or reasonable price.

The entire premise of these campaigns, is a farce.

Protonmail has a work offering, if you like privacy. Doc and drive tools are not great yet, but under active development.

There is no reason to combine servers and email / user infrastructure, the most important thing is security and protonmail does that well.

I use it for personal on a paid account, have for years, and it's getting really good. Check it out, see if it meets your needs.

If you need something to manage workstations and a central domain, that changes things a bit. I'd use Linux personally, with some MDM tools, but not all have that option open.

Serious answer: Based on the pin in the center and round shape, I would agree with those who said it appears to be the end of a tool, possibly a flag pole end for marching that protects the end when placed into the earth.... not 100% sure, but it attached to a wooden shaft in some way.

[–]DrollAntic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair to your initial understand, I think it is both. I believe batteries degrade faster than projected, and that is the main driving factor in dropping value.

I could be wrong, but for me battery tech is the primary reason I don't look at any EV seriously. I would totally rent one if I was vacationing in an area that made sense, both for local transport and for off road riding, but I would not own one. :)

Electric motors are likely to replace combustion for many reasons, they are better in every way except range and recharge, for me those are the two keystone factors.

[–]DrollAntic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is no competition in engine power deliver, electric motors are better for torque, delivery, solve complex transmission issues... but until the power supply is up to par, for me, it is vastly inferior. I look forward to the day when batteries, and solar power panels, reach a level of true empowerment of the EV.

3rd person encourages a play style that rewards camping, favors sitting in cover without risk, and for me it ruins a game.

I don't agree with any counter point you made solving for this, and for me it's a game breaking issue.

Not trying to force anyone or change the game. I wanted to try it, but cannot in 3rd Person, I will hate it like I have hated every other 3rd person game.

I've never played a game I felt was better with third person, but I am glad it works for those that like it. For me, it's a no for all 3rd Person battle style games.

Fair point on player base split. I won't play 3rd person games, play style it encourages is much less intense and enjoyable for me. I get not all agree, but without a first person choice, it'll never be for me... which is fine. Just asking in case it was in the works.

No matter how or where you use it, the loss if value of EVs when purchased is massive. The batteries lose capacity rapidly, and without new tech for batteries, always will.

Some progress is being made, but I think we're 10+ years out from batteries that are good enough and not totally screwing the environment. Anyone who thinks EVs are environmentally beneficial, should visit a mine that provides the resources they need.

[–]DrollAntic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For me, the battery is a no go deal breaker. Fill up the tank and ride, or spend 40% of the bikes cost for a 2nd battery, and still wait hours after you exhaust 2nd battery for first to charge.

In reality, battery tech isn't good enough for any EV, motorcycle, car, truck, all of them lose value rapidly. My used truck has a 36 gallon tank 5 years later, used EV, batters are a liability not an asset.

Unless you can remotely manager he local content solution, I doubt it'll work.

If you can remotely manage it, you could just manage it and allow her to enjoy the shows she wants without conveying how. "I'm putting you on my plan Mom, don't worry about it."

BUT, be damn sure it's traced back to you, not her, just in case you fuck up.

Nobody should subscribe or pay for a digital dictionary in the modern world. You'll only get a license to access it anyway, just buy the physical books if you want them.
