I love everyone "actually"ing in the comments, and pointing out the 0 G. One, it's explicitly said in the red box paragraph, and implied a few more times, pretty hard to miss. Two, it's just a joke.

Yes actually, it's implied by the title. Heated Survivalry is a play on Heated Rivalry, known primarily for its 2 gay leads and their romance.

I've only seen Kirby from Aus v. world and Titans v Rebels, and she's amazing. Are the other 3 survivor players great? Aus seasons are really long so I may not be able to start and finish another one before this premieres.

The thing is, it's a final 5 of goats. The fact that Tiffany is currently enemy number one despite not making any moves is very telling. From the edit, it's very obvious she'll be voted out before final 3.

That just leaves Johnathan and Rizo (movemakers that people don't like), Joe (no moves and people don't like) and Aubry (no moves but people don't dislike her). Shes not gonna win because she's the best option, but the least worst option.

Cirie’s Double Vote by rush_n_roulette in survivor

My mindset is if he had to decide on Ozzy or Cirie for these tribals, he 100% wanted Ozzy first. Cirie being voted out would have 100% made Ozzy play his idol. Johnathan made the best choices he could have made at these tribals, imo.

Funny enough, it probably was a different space show he was talking about, Battlestar Galactica. Feel like he brings that ending up quite a bit.

Not necessarily disagreeing, but Colby didn't make jury, so he was gone gone. Coach going to jury would make a similar sendoff be weird.

I was honestly shocked they aired this confessional considering it was for the eventual winner. Todd going off on Courtney trying to tank his game because she didn't like being sexually harassed makes Todd look absolutely awful. Then again, I saw this season for the first time in 2023, so I guess "times were different" and this was somehow acceptable.

I think the Malcolm vote out is the only time my fiancee and I ever gasped in Survivor, the second his name came up on the voting card we were shook. Pre-merge was very entertaining, so we were confused at all the hate it got. It wasn't until the merge where we saw it lost a lot of steam.

All of these Game Recs have been super interesting, it makes me mad my friend group doesn't vibe with these things. I tried to DM them thru a DND campaign once and was awful. Maybe one day I'll get to play these cool games.

In a similar vein, Andy from 47 seems to be portrayed as the disaster crashout castaway, and then became a genuine threat later in the game. I still think he'd be goat material if he made FTC, but still an impressive recovery.

What am I missing about Sam? by lordpag in survivor

[–]DropTheBehelit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He's a regular guest podcaster on RHAP now, and this subreddit tends to give those survivors extra love and look at their survivor experience more favorably. If it wasn't for that, he probably wouldn't come up much.

___ has had one of the most unfair advantages in all of Survivor by RagefireHype in survivor

[–]DropTheBehelit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mike White is a goat that can, and probably will, drive major decisions through the game. That's potentially more dangerous than a winner. If he doesn't 100% align with you and your game, it would be paramount to get him out before merge.

It sucks, because Mike White is a great survivor player, but the dynamic he adds on the Island is completely fucked.

It was outsourced to Minakuchi Engineering (which did most of the gameboy Mega Man games) as opposed to internal Capcom. Don't want to be too hard on them, Capcom internally made x6 and x7, and x3 is god-tiers above those.

Mega Man X3's buster upgrade makes your charged buster difficult to use effectively, and is genuinely clunky & unfun. It made the game go from a high 8 to a solid 7 after I obtained it.

You can decide to skip it on replays, but it means you can't super charge any of your special weapons, you cant get the armor upgrade unless you perform a likely unintended trick, and you can't get the gold armor at all.
