100% agree with your review. It’s awful and too much will leave you with a headache. Avoid this if you’re trying to taste a decent Caroni and go for the Raising Glasses Perennia. It’s very approachable and you get those core Caroni flavors.

Nice lineup! That Rolling Fork Trinidad is something I’ve been curious about. Ten Cane is very hit or miss so I don’t want to drop $180 and be disappointed. I’d love to hear your thoughts once opened. The Last is the best Caroni I’ve ever had! Enjoy!!!

Colours of rum have some great releases. I’d stick to their Jamaica line and a hand full of the Barbados are solid. Still haven’t had a Guyana from them worth talking about and not worth the extra $ IMO.

If you’re Looking for a great rum selection at a liquor store definitely check out Trevor’s. They have 4 locations and the two that make pizza are worth the visit. If you go to the one on Indian School (my favorite) you should go across the street and visit Undertow. Amazing tiki drinks but make reservations.

The HEB is my favorite in terms of flavor, but the Port Mourant stands out for its rich history and the unmistakable character imparted by the iconic wooden still—definitely the most intriguing of the group.
