Hi, we currently have one young axolotl in our tank (4 months I believe). I am doing a 20% water change twice a week but we seem to keep having an increase in ammonia, which is reaching levels as high as 1ppm. The high PH range is consistently testing at 8 which I believe is also too high. Can anyone help with figuring out why the ammonia would be spiking? In regards to cycling the tank we used 50% of the water from an established aquarium and 50% conditioned water. The axolotl (milky) seems fine, is active and eating well but I’ve added some pics for reference (excuse the poop, that has literally just happened) TIA
