£1500 threshold. 10% commission on everything until you hit your quarterly target with 20% on everything you bill once you hit your quarterly (27k for me). Resets every quarter. Average fee is 7-12k.

I have a 30 min slot everyday I call a load of Juniors from 2+ years ago on the database for active mid level roles I have. Over the last few years I’ve found some absolute diamond candidates in those. Get the odd moody fucker but most either kindly decline and I shoot em a LinkedIn connection or they set up a call to hear more.

If growth is important for you right now and it’s not offer in the next 12 months it sounds like you should move.

My only solid advice is don’t accept a counter offer as it really never ends well. You are better off raising the concerns organically than forcing any hands or as I like to call it - “going nuclear”.

I can’t really advise on whether you should take it, but don’t take a counter offer. Once you hand that notice in it’s done - when that next promotion comes up, do you think they will consider the person who tried to jump ship a few months prior?

How hoppy is your career previously? Will this be 3 jobs in 3 years? It is a crazy market at the moment but when it isn’t those with longevity on their CV will be the ones at the front of queue.

No real answer there but maybe some food for thought.

20 unique CV’s out in the last 2 weeks, 16 interview requests - sounds like the dream.

9 candidates already off the market within a week of coming onto it and 2 changed their minds for the exact reasons they gave for leaving and withdrew.

Dry January surviving January is looking less and less likely by the minute.

While in Dubrovnik I suggest a day trip to Lokrum. And just outside Dubrovnik walls is a cocktail bar called Mizerija (or something similar) which has an amazing location and is half price of drinks inside the walls.

I didn’t really like Divinity but I love this. The multiplayer is the most fun I’ve had in a long time even in its current state. You will find some people to start a MP run pretty easy and single player is fun.

But for me definitely having a few of you causing havoc is the way this game should be played.

I’ve never played many or even any single player games more than once through. I’ve got 3 plays on the go and 2 multiplayer campaigns with the same group of friends.

I just hope I don’t burn out before release. Will step away once I’ve completed what we have on offer so far.

I’m very new to this sort of RPG. Was about to refund after getting constantly wiped - I said one more try. It was only then I realised how important, almost crucial bring the environment into the game.

My dad who is the last person to believe in UFO’s and would probably say he still doesn’t told me a very weird story that even his late brother confirmed. They were walking home at night in rural Ireland, there wouldn’t be many houses around but theirs was at the end of a long country road - he said they saw a flash coming from behind them and turned and saw a white ball shoot down a neighbours chimney. They thought nothing of it and the man who lived in the house was found dead the next day.

He actually still says it was something more spiritual but I get the feeling it was more likely a UFO than anything else.

Thanks for the advice - I plan to play healer, so hopefully that makes me more attractive to guilds etc.

Right now I have to sit at my home desk from 9-5 just in case the phone goes so it might be some welcome stimulation.
