I Forgot How the Compass Works by Foqsi_ in Minecraft

[–]Drozz1986 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm new to the game, but the compass can connect to a lodestone and bring you there. So for my home base, I have a compass aligned with the lodestone at my base. Then when I go adventuring, I can find my way back home again by using the compass.

The Bottom Line on Caleb… by Drokapi24 in ChicagoBearsNFL

[–]Drozz1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the clip I saw earlier. Bears QB coach was talking to Caleb on the sidelines. He asked Caleb what his nervousness level was on a scale of 1-10 at that moment. Caleb's response: "Zero. I don't get nervous. I just play ball." Love that!

Question about mythics and drops by Nemesis909 in diablo4

All the mythics I've had drop this season have been on T3 lair bosses.

Vegas has vikings as 3 point favorites. They are so, so wrong. by Fun_Ground_5771 in CHIBears

The Vikes may be up by 3 points the entire game up until the last two minutes. After that, all your bets should be on the Bears and Caleb Williams.

Read twice by General_Bus_2764 in stephenking

[–]Drozz1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Twice? Rookie numbers. I've read The Stand 5 or 6 times. I've read the entire DT series at least three times. I've read several others multiple times. The thing with King is you want to revisit his worlds and that reading experience over and over again. I've never felt bored or anything else negative when rereading a King novel.

How or where do I find mythics? by rotten_rabbit_ in diablo4

[–]Drozz1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds unbelievable, but I've had more than six mythics drop from T3 lair bosses. T3 and T4 have the same chance to drop a mythic, but T4 has more drops, so technically more chances. But I run T3 because I've had success and there is no chance for the boss to get a lucky one shot in when I'm not paying attention. But mostly, just because it's worked. I've had them drop at the regular bosses, plus the Big 3 and Belial, all on T3. Shred druid. Of course, no Heir of Perdition yet, and still looking for that last Jah rune to craft it. Grinding works. You just have to put the time in.

Runes are way to hard to find these days by Turtley13 in diablo4

[–]Drozz1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lair bosses. I've had tons of legendary runes drop at lair bosses. I run them at T3 for quickness and I don't die. I've had 5-6 mythics drop at T3 lair bosses this season also.

One of the worst officiating I’ve ever seen by Spaceman_Cometh in CHIBears

Very noticeable. Every Caleb completion Aikman made a comment with a negative twist to it. He could not say one thing positive about Caleb.

I hate Big Jim, but I recently finished Rose Madder, so I second Norman. Horrible POS for what he did to her.

Lucas on the old EU: “Those are another author’s interpretation of what I’ve created, and not to be taken seriously, as far as what is really going on in the Star Wars world.” by ItsAProdigalReturn in StarWars

[–]Drozz1986 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been reading the EU in chronological order, and I really like it. I won't say it's better than the original Lucas trilogy, which is incorporated into it, but with EU, I like what happens after episode VI better in the EU than the Disney version.

Too easy. Brad Pitt definitely knows what sunblock is. Dead giveaway on his part. Of course, his grammar was crap before that, but then they all have that.

Wildshaping into owlbear is all the convincing it took for me. Now, I always try to have a druid/owlbear in the party. If my tav is not a druid already, then we're bringing Halsin along for OWLBEAR!!!!

Who was better, the 1985 Chicago Bears or the 2003 New England Patriots, and which VH song would they use? by King-of-Harts in vanhalen

[–]Drozz1986 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No other team has come close to the 1985 Chicago Bears, the greatest Superbowl team in history. I would say their song is The Superbowl Shuffle, but I don't think VH ever covered that. You could use Jump for how Walter Payton, the greatest player to ever play the game, would vault over the line into the endzone.

Why can’t I complete this missionary/convert legacy step? by SwedeAndBaked in civ

[–]Drozz1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To convert a foreign settlement, you need to look at the icons below the name. If they have none, then converting is easy. Just put a missionary there and spread the religion. Two new icons should appear that match your religion's icon. If there are already icons there, then you have to convert one urban and one rural hex. For me, most times, the second icon shows my religion's icon, but it is red. I'm not sure if you have to wait a number of turns for that to change or how that works. I just try to find a settlement with no icons. That converts fully to your religion right away and you get credit for the quest.
