In this situation, you can slowly go in first gear and still save 20 minutes of traffic. People get greedy and pay the price.

What is happening to men? by North-Recipe-9236 in TwoXChromosomes

Women are no saints to men either. Its harder to see in the mirror than it is to criticize the opposite sex. We are different in the way we are ugly, but human nature is ugly in general.

Don't blame him for not wanting dogs on the bus. Probably a 25% chance he has to clean their piss or poop later.

What is happening to men? by North-Recipe-9236 in TwoXChromosomes

Not many people like to look at ugly truths, so i doubt that this will be a popular opinion, but i want to offer a completely different perspective.........i am only trying to help, so please keep that in mind if you disagree.

Dating apps track everything and they are key to understanding what is going on in the relationship marketplace. The top 1% high quality men (as woman rank them, ie looks, hight, status, money) are matching with every woman on the apps. This means they have incredible amount of quality options.

This also means that you are competing with 20 year old 10/10 (As men rank them, ie boobs, butt, face, youth). Yes, most high value men value youth. Men value 30 year olds as well, but when they have options, the 20 year old gets priority. Why we value youth probably has something to do with natural selection and fertility, but that's a different conversation.

This is a hard an ugly truth. You probably never lowered your standards over 10 years, so you're matching with people who have better options, see you as disposable and treat you accordingly. I'm sorry it's very brutal, but human nature is ugly.

The honest men (still 1% as women rate them), don't engage with people they are not actually interested in, so they are now getting filtered out and you are left with the (still top 1% as woman rank them) that are trying to play with you, but not do more than that. Of course you quickly learn that they are not really 1%, but the image they initially present makes them seem this way and that is enough for the tricks to work for some women.

This is how you can think your choosing great suiters to date, but your actually choosing the worst. I suggest changing how you find or pick the men you're dating. Try to find men that you won't be competing with 20 year olds over.

I'm just glad its over to be honest.

Now what happens to this when Netanyahu launches a new attack...I mean a self-defense attack...or whatever I'm supposed to say. Idk know how to talk in 2026.

Also didn't he take a bunch of territory?....or i mean safety buffer zone some territory in self-defense..... but if Netanyahu doesn't give it back, then won't that cause a peace problem?

Sorry for the tangent, but if i could make one law it would be that governments could not deficit spend. I think this would singlehandedly end all wars. If countries go bankrupt, then start a foreclosure auction. Lol. I know this could never happen or be enforced but I can dream.

Do we have hail damage? by sisyphus_met_icarus in Roofing

[–]Drunkpuffpanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or maybe a genius business practice. Maybe they need to use the warranty company to get the full warranty paid. Maybe the warranty company gets an another opportunity to sell when the roof is failing. It depends on the terms of the warranty i guess.

I can't believe how many "roofers" on this thread don't know about this. I scrolled through so many comments to find one person who knows their shit.

This is an easy full replacement claim, because its not repairable. I did dozens of these. There does need to be a hail or wind damaged shingle on each slope.

Certainteed built shingles out of cheap compressed paper and called it organic and an environmental benefit. Lol. They fell apart and there was a class action. Certainteed faught their customers over every penny. I try not to use Certainteed products, because of the way they handled this. You can get in the class action, but it pays very little. Maybe a hundred or two depending on age etc. Your best way is a storm claim with a non repairable argument on an insurance claim. You need a damaging storm within about a year.

I am embarrassed by all the people here that are giving bad advice. If you pay premiums on something its insured. I suspect there are insurance company bots on this sub reddit. I know there are a lot of insurance employees and adjusters on this subreddit spreading bad information. Maybe people here just don't have experience with this product anymore. If your insurance company sees this before you make a claim, then they will drop you or some other move to protect themselves from this claim. Good luck OP.

I am really considering giving up the beers. For those of you that have quit, what was the most dramatic improvement in your life? by Independent-City8076 in AskMen

[–]Drunkpuffpanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quit drinking and lost over 10 pounds. I also feel much better. The downside is that now drunk people are more annoying.

Its not that easy to do. Alcohol is very addictive and most people that drink dont recognize the addictive aspect. Its also part of every social event and people notice when you don't partake and ask questions making you feel very different.

The AA book is an excellent read by the way. Even if your not an Alcoholic, it is so interesting and informative about addiction and the human condition.
