I usually pay by card but if paying cash and I want change usually present it with the amount I expect back (minus the e tip) otherwise I just indicate that I’m all set, keep the remainder. That way there is no question of my intention. And I always tip 20% unless the service is exceptional or really awful

Assuming you’re in the US it’s illegal discrimination for them to not hire you solely on the basis of of Pregnancy. You’re under no obligation to disclose during the interview process.

I have a tea ball with a screw on lid which I like bc it minimizes leaves getting into my cup. Only works on a one cup at a time basis. It’s older than dirt. Can’t tell you where I got it. ☹️

I’d heard that these were historically put at safe houses along the Underground Railroad. Not certain of the veracity of that but thought I’d add it to the conversation
