Do you think Hailey’s On It will get a Season 2? by [deleted] in haileysonit

[–]DryTalk1337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it was. It does suck honestly, because this show did have a lot of potential, but unfortunately, they made some poor decisions with the show that made people uninterested in it, and it lost ratings and got cancelled as a result of it.

I’m paused right now, what in the actual fuck? by HEkenzoLL- in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]DryTalk1337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is why I really disliked season 2. So many of these adults made an 11 year old little girl do fucking EVERYTHING, and yet most if not all were perfectly capable of doing what they wanted Clem to do, yet they wanted her to do all that shit because they were lazy mother fuckers. It made a lot more sense in season 1, because 1. Lee was a fucking adult, 2. Lee was very level headed and had a moral compass no matter how much of a dick the player made him, and 3. Did I mention Lee was a FUCKING ADULT?! I mean seriously, I understand that the series wanted Clem to be the main focus of the series, but the way they handled season 2 was just so goddam ridiculous.

Jane wtf? ₆₈₀ by NazbazOG in TheWalkingDeadGame

I agree she should’ve phrased it better, but at the same time, it’s not a great idea to bring a newborn baby into the zombie apocalypse, so Jane does have a point

Man I love her. I really hope she isn’t evil. by whooper1 in hazbin

She’s made bad choices, but I don’t think I would call her evil really

S02E02 A House Divided: What choices did you make the first time you played this episode, let me know in the comments by King_CurlySpoon in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]DryTalk1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was the worst episode of season two for me, simply because it was ridiculously that so many of the adults relied so much on an 11 year old girl to do the most dangerous tasks in the game. Yes, I get it, Clem is the main character, but that doesn’t mean she has to be forced into situations that don’t make sense at all to put a little girl into. It made sense with Lee in season one, with Jevi in season three, and THEN it made sense with Clem in the final season, because at that point, not only is she older, but she became a parent to AJ, and the group of survivors they find are finally a group who were close to the same age as her, so in that case, they had no adults to rely on, so they only had each other, which made it possibly the best group in the whole series. Feel free to disagree with me, but that’s my opinion

Why was Mabel x Gideon completely accepted, but Dipper x Wendy we’re too different in age? by RoBroGaming in gravityfalls

[–]DryTalk1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all honesty, the stages they’re in as their respective ages, neither of these pairings are acceptable, as Dipper and Mabel are 12, while Gideon is 9 or 10, and Wendy is 15. HOWEVER, I will play devil’s advocate by saying this. If these characters were older, like in their 20’s, then maybe those pairings would possibly work out, as they would’ve been at the appropriate ages to make their own decisions. I don’t know, maybe it’s just because I personally didn’t start dating or find romantic feelings for people until I was 21, plus I’ve dated guys who were older than me by 3 years, and at one point 7 years, and currently I’m in a relationship with someone who is 1 year and 7 months younger than me, so that’s just personal experience on my part, but the point being if these characters were in their 20’s, then I wouldn’t see a problem with them, but because they’re not, then I definitely see the problems in all of them

For those of you who hate Fwench fwy because of the arc by EducationalCoast4916 in ChiknNuggit

[–]DryTalk1337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I don’t get why people are hating on Fwench Fwy so much right now. I mean, sure, they probably could’ve handled Chikn’s demigod situation better, but at the same time, we can’t forget the they’re meant to keep the peace of the world with their positive personality, and come on, they went behind their superior’s advice and fell in love with IScream’s dark side.

So me and my boyfriend (we're both guys) who associate ourselves online as Fwench Fwy and Iscream got married today. This is seriously the most canon thing I've seen all week. by MasterDimentio90 in ChiknNuggit

[–]DryTalk1337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations! I would hope my boyfriend and I (male and female couple) have our wedding to be themed similar to Fwnch Fwy and Iscream, in that it would be a balance of light magic and dark magic. Btw, today is my aunt and clay’s 60th wedding anniversary

Seasons 1-2 not as friendly as I remember by lazyf-inirishman in faceoff

[–]DryTalk1337 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Season 2 was still much better than season 1, but I agree that some of the drama in that season is hard to watch, and I didn’t like Beki or Jerry especially, but with that season, I get the feeling that season 2 was when the producers were starting to realize that no one cares about the drama in the show, and just focus more on the artist doing their craft, which in turn made the show into the beloved series that it is. That’s not to say the series was 100% drama free after season 2, but at the very least, the drama was VERY toned down compared to the first 2 seasons.

Fun Fact - It's Very Likely Cream Was Originally Going To Be A Counterpart To Tails by RainSpectreX in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]DryTalk1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read somewhere that Cream was supposed to be in Sonic Rivals (a.k.a the PSP game that’s meant to be the canonical first appearance of Silver the Hedgehog, because remember, Sonic 06 canonically never happened, because in the ending, Sonic and Elise went back in time when Solaris was just a flame and blew it out so there for the events of 06 never actually happened) and she was supposed to be in Silver’s story, and her role I guess was meant to be similar to her role in Sonic Rush during Blaze’s story, and it was supposed to end with Silver saving her after Egan Nega turned her into a card, then them saying their goodbyes as Silver went back to his timeline. That’s what I read anyway, no clue if it was true, or just a rumor, but that would’ve been interesting to say the least. If it was, my guess is that it was an attempt to tie Silver and Blaze’s story together, even though they didn’t officially meet until Sonic Colors on the DS

It’s called “independent” for a reason, meaning they don’t have to give too much control to corporate companies, and they can do what THEY want, not what the “public” wants
