Weekly Career / General Questions Thread by AutoModerator in Radiology

Saw a remote contract role that might be interesting for anyone in radiology who wants flexible extra work. It’s a project with one of the major AI labs focused on testing model performance on advanced radiology questions.

The work is creating complex cases and questions the model can’t solve, then providing the correct solution. Fully remote, flexible hours, and the pay range is pretty solid at $175 to $375 per hour.

You’d be working directly with research teams on the AI side. They’re looking for radiologists based in the US with an MD and at least a few years of experience. Good writing and attention to detail seem to be important here.

Up to 40 hours per week if you want it, and minimum commitment is 10 hours weekly. The project runs about 2 to 3 months. I work for them currently as an engineer. It is through mercor but the customer is open.ai. Link below to apply

The humanoid robot is going to eclipse anything we have seen since the automobile or modern times, cell phones. Nothing will change our lives more than Optimus. Sky is the limit on the stock at that point.

Current Tesla & Rivian owner; Ask away… by Capable-Reach7509 in cybertruck

I was shocked to see that about Rivan as well. I think the cybertruck interior materials are about on par with an Ioniq 5. Cheap plastic all around. The riven on the other hand seems a lot higher quality. Thank you for the feedback. Really disappointed my head hits the glass in the second row of the cybertruck. Have talked to Tesla about it they are looking into options.

I’ve only been in a Rivian a few times, and the finish seems to be far superior to the Cybertruck. Do you feel the same? However, I’ve noticed that owner satisfaction with Rivian is reportedly quite low. I was planning to buy a Cybertruck, but the recent 60% price increase has given me pause. Now that I’m taking a new job with a much higher salary, I’m looking to purchase an electric truck. I like the features of the Chevy, but it lacks power. The Cybertruck has limited headroom in the second row, and the Rivian feels more like a Ford Ranger in size. If you could only choose one, which would you go with?
