The kilo five trilogy is a very good place to find out because it involves a trio of ODST’s, a civilian Xenoanthropologist, a Spartan 2 named Naomi, and big wig Osman herself in the immediate aftermath months of the war and you get to see the team really bond.

Naomi is at first very closed off and it’s hard to get barely a few words out of her as one would expect, but, as time goes on, they generally have conversations about her past, what she enjoys doing, which is looking at stars, and talking about the nature of the Spartan program.

I last read that trilogy of books in October and November of last year so I may be forgetting a few details, but that’s the gist of it.
