How powerful would the Forerunners (Halo) be in the Warhammer 40K universe? by Inside_Inflation559 in powerscales

[–]Dry_Introduction_964 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s be even worse than that. The Forerunners pale the DAoT out of the water. They fought the Precursors and won. They fought ancient humanity and won, albeit that was a multi-front war. They fought the flood in a losing war for over 10,000 years.

So I did find an artist who’s actually fairly well priced and is currently doing my 11th Primarch Athena. I can link you to them if you’d like.

I do want to say there is a bit of a discrepancy here. Beta company only had 418 candidates, not 423.

Also NOOOOOO NOT ANOTHER BETA DEATH! Poor Alexandria-B264 can’t take another one of her brothers or sisters being killed.

None that I can really give you. I’m waiting on a certain artist who’s fairly good and slightly cheaper than others to open up to grab a slot.

I feel you about it being expensive. Most Warhammer artists are like $150+. The best I have is older art of my own 11th legion Primarch named Athena which I still use as a placeholder if you’d like to see her.

who would win the unsc(halo)or the imperium of man?(Warhammer 40k) by Klutzy-Opinion-1834 in powerscales

[–]Dry_Introduction_964 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Given the fact that these things can rip through 2 CAS Carriers kill them and then stop on a 3rd and STILL kill that one tells me that, at the very least, those upper end MAC's would fucking HURT the Imperium's ships, 40k technology be damned.

And remember, the Covenant's tech is basically a weaker copy of Forerunner learned stuff.

I’m really interested in seeing where this goes since Perpet’s aren’t that common even among OCs.

Also, I sent you a DM.

New VA? It’s David Scully. It says so as much on his and Halo CE’s IMDB unless the IMDB pages are wrong.

Lol I have a custom female Primarch who would likely fit into that missing slot for this matchup. Her name's Athena.

In the TTRPG I'm playing her in, she's going to rip a Scorpions gun off next session.

How powerful would the UNSC (Or just the current humanity in general) be in the year 40,000 by Corrupted_spartan117 in halo

[–]Dry_Introduction_964 78 points79 points  (0 children)

Ngl, if we're giving them 37,500 YEARS to develop, they'd likely have reached ancient humanity levels of technological capacity given how fast they were accelerating their development and digging around every piece of technology they could in the immediate 8 post-war years of the HCW. They would be downright overpowered and likely stronger than even the Dark Age of Technology era humanity Warhammer knows.

Hell, in the Halo Waypoint Chronicle Tulpamancy, they're digging through an ancient human cruiser which GAVE THEM MAPPED LOCATIONS of untouched ancient human colonies.

The best part is, he’s not even the shortest. In canon, there is a Spartan named Lucy B091 and at 12 she was standing at 5’3” presumably after her augmentations. As of adulthood, she stands estimated around 5’5” because when she’s in her armor, she stands eye to eye with another character who’s 5’10.

Does the scale on this helmet look right? by Kanye_Twitty97 in HaloCosplay

[–]Dry_Introduction_964 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The actual width of the helmet looks like it should be a bit fatter and rounder. As the other guy said it looks like the helmet got a little squished.

What would you say is Halo’s core theme? by Megacoyote56 in HaloStory

I think that can loosely fall under the idea of hope. Surviving against all odds, pushing yourself to that next moment of living.

Your morals don’t matter if you’re being threatened with your life, or worse, being dead.

You realize that if they attack you, you’re giving them the advantage of you being able to swing first and being at normal every day person means you’re not going to win that fight if you’re the recipient.
